Second, and more importantly....No way to confirm in this video whether this is a 2010 or 2011 Mustang, which is huge because 2010 v6 was the old weak 4.0 iron block. What I don't understand though is how it only managed to gain 0.2 seconds and 8 mph on the 1/4 Mile when it has a little more power, and 300 lbs (at least) of weight reduction compared to the M5. @gman77dt yes, they were all SOHC motors w/o variable valve timing, their new motor is a DOHC Variable Valve Timing, 4 valve per cylinder 5.0L v8 making ~400bhp rev's to 7000 rpm; look up s62b50 (e39 M5 Motor) they both have the same specs.

@gman77dt lol the best part that i recently found out is that Ford's Mustang GT's now have Dual Mass Flywheels (just like the M5) also Getrag Tranny's (like the M5) and now have their transmissions to have external shift linkages instead of internal (like the m5). It's hilarious.

They are still plushy softy sedans for preps, posers and middle aged men going through a crisis and looking for spice, yet too prissy to get his fuckin hands dirty. Oh, or for sassy women who like a little pep in their ride. It is the kind of car I'd buy my wife, but not me. But I digress, I love the silky smooth rev of a bimmer. They do build very nice engines.

To ME, too plushy (bambo novillo leather, heated seats, bigger cabin space, iDrive, NAVI, blah blah blah). Though very nice, just doesn't REALLY do it for me like a raw sports car. I'd do a Porsche Panamera before a M3. Though also "plush," the cabin space is closer/tighter, more connected. But for the money, the Boss 302 has got the right formula of rawness I like.
