My Westie was the same way. If he even acknowledged a toy, he'd do this like closing his eye thing and turning away while saying "pft!" (give me a break). When other dogs at the dog park were playing with toys, he didn't even want to associate with them.

i wish dogs were allowed at the beaches by my house. i would totally bring my westies and play with them just like you guys did.

i got a westie but she doesn't play with anything. she's 9 on dec 4th but has never bothered with toys even when she was younger...weird!
