The documentary was to show two sides of a story. There are some Japanese that do not want the Americans in Okinawa and they were interviewed as well as Japanese that like the Americans in Okinawa. My part of the video (I am the American) was to show that some Americans are trying very hard to be a part of and respect the Japanese culture. Since it was a documentary, NHK tried to give several perspectives.
