I really loved watching this video. It's incredibly inspiring, and so cool to see how you've set up this huge, highly successful company by yourself with a few employees (and a positively adorable ferret XD). As a student hoping to make a career as a seamstress after college, it is really exciting to witness the behind the scenes version of a kind of 'livin the dream' company and hear about it from you and your team.
Is there a part 2? What kind of pattern drafting program are you using?
I'm incredbly inspired by what your team does. I love your designs and artwork. Nice work with the addition of your artwork to your website revamp, Barb, super cute. Thanks for giving us a behind-the-scenes with this well designed video. I'll keep following your progress with awe!
I'm thinking of requesting a costume next year, and this is my first time. I don't have that much money but I'm anxious to get it when I have my part time job! :D
[squeaks happily] It's so neat to see the process you guys use. I recently ordered 2 costumes (a Rogue and a Lilith) and this just makes me even more excited to see the finished product!
This is really interesting, especially to someone like me who's going into fashion design. I would love to do something like you guys are doing - it's so inspiring! The pattern software is also amazing, I've never seen anything like it! Is it expensive to buy?
Random question: what's the tatoo on your arm of? :)
Ya know, my mental image of your workspace isn't that different from what's in the vid. Maybe I'm psychic XD Thanks so much for uploading this! I always like seeing the behind the scenes stuff of cosplay.
The work space was a lot like what I thought too XD Well..maybe not as messy. I thought I was the only one who had stuff everywhere >_> Anyway I loved this! It was so insightful into how things work and really provides a lot of hope and inspiration to my own budding commission business. *favorites* Now when family keep asking me what I'm doing with my life I can just be like..LINK! This sums it up ^_^ It was really interesting to hear what everyone sounds like too.
i wanna work for you when i grow up X3. i'm serious. it's my dream to make cosplay costumes and start up my own gothic lolita/gothic aristocrat store

I can't imagine the prop guy sanding out every rough fiberglass helmet smooth. Being a RTV mold guy, myself, I wouldn't have the patience for it.
