i love how the boomerang will go through his entire open face and not damage them. fkcin gamboy game bugs. i dont even care that i die, its the walk back there that makes me want to break the fucking game
I remember when I was eight years old, I thought Manhandla was the hardest boss. Of course, now that I'm much older and replayed the game, that boss was easy. Really easy.
If there's one problem with Oracle of Seasons, it's that too many of the bosses are from other Zelda games (or at least the first game). I know Zelda usually repeats bosses, but Oracle of Seasons I think had the most reused.
The most hardest boss, especially with the moving floor. But I didn´t knew you can change the course of tha boomerang for a better striking, If I´d knew that back then, manhandla would not have been such a pain.
You can easily take out the boss's heads by just running up to it while protecting yourself with the shield cause it protects you from most projectiles and contact while getting close to the heads. Makes it alot easier believe me.
If I recall correctly, a level 2 Shield will help protect you from the boss's projectiles. If it's true, you can play defensive when your HP gets too low.
where do you find the square juwel on a linked game? i can't find it no matter how long i seek. the treasure map says it's on the spot where you started the game but i digget evrywhere and it just isn't there. PLEASE somone help!
To make this battle easier, hit each head twice. That way, when the boss speeds up, you only have to hit each head once. Also, the floor problem can easily be handled by equipping the Quicksand Ring or Roc's Feather, both of which aren't that hard to find.
Would it be easier to just stand on one of the platforms on the side and home the boomerang onto him, and do eventual maneuvers with the Roc's Feather so that you can avoid getting dragged by the sand?
i've been playing Seasons for most of today, and manhandla was beginning to get on my nerves, the player in the video made this battle look so easy, and i thought the previous boss was hard in dungeon 5
This guy gave me a lot of trouble!

Dang, a lot of these bosses were from the original Zelda? I'm gonna have to go play that again now, even if I have to go find an emulator for it.

if you have the 'Quicksand Ring' use it... very useful against this boss.

@stredum123
5 month late response but whatever, it's impossible that you didn't know about the magic boomerang's movement stuff.
1. The game tells you that.
2. The dungeon REQUIRES you to use the movement stuff from the boomerang.

in Zelda 1 you could just kill this guy in 1 shot with a bomb
but i guess since the floor is moving the bomb would move away from manhandla

This was the toughest boss in Seasons, in my opinion. Or Digdogger.

When you combine Manhandla from the original Zelda with that blue gel enemy from the color dungeon in Link's Awakening, you pretty much get this.
