In deference to the comment below this one I wouldn't change a thing. I would hit the "accoustic cafe's" and Town Centers like Canyon Crest where I live. They feature an artist/band once a week during the pleasant months.

Take the time to find a producer.

If I was your producer, I would step sideways with the track and either break it down with a rap after the 3rd bar, or just go 70's and have a good guitar solo. higher pitch and a 4/4 speed, maybe slower. I'd have to hear it.
