Super 8 was literally the worst movie I saw in 2011. A close second was Melancholia. Super 8 had me scratching my head as to whether the whole world is stupid or if I'm stupid. Seeing as how I handle money correctly, made great grades, make right choices, and have great taste in films, I think the world is in a sad state.

I enjoyed this movie a lot. The suspense was fantastic and I kept jumping over and over again. The plot is great. It doesn't recycle old movie plots or focus overly on special effects. Don't get me wrong, the special effects are amazing, but they weren't overboard. The kids were surprisingly very good actors. Very believable and enjoyable. The biggest tragedy about this movie is that most people will miss it and watch the big movies coming out this summer instead. Bad timing for release. :(

I went and watched this movie with my friend. It turns out that the city that movie was plotted in was the city where my friend was born. We really enjoyed the movie and I think it was the best movie that I have ever seen. MOST EPIC TRAIN CRASH IN HISTORY!!!!! XD

Why all the negative comments on the train/truck crash? The train was going damn fast, so you would probably get a major derailment. What's the big deal anyway? Would you be happier if the train hit a tractor trailer? The action has got to get started somehow. Maybe the driver of the pick up was trying to stop the train, or maybe it was just a random event. The movie has gotten my interest. At least its not comic book nonsense.
So is it an Alien, or a Telepathic Human, or some beast? I wonder what it could be. I think it would be really dumb if there was all this hype and it turned out to just be a Telepathic Human. They wouldn't do that though. That would be a horrible twist. I can't wait to see this movie.

So is it an Alien, or a Telepathic Human, or some beast? I wonder what it could be. I think it would be really dumb if there was all this hype and it turned out to just be a Telepathic Human. They wouldn't do that though. That would be a horrible twist. I can't wait to see this movie.
