When my Mom turned me onto him and his music in late 1970's, I knew I had made another habit and teacher for life. He was truly Somebody Special. Never fails to lift me out of banal ordinary daily life. Thank you for this tune. Thank you Art Pepper. Thank you Rudy Van Gelder. Cool, man....

What a smooth jazzy piece this is! Up until now, I've had no clue was Art Pepper's music was like nor have I heard of the man himself but, looking at the previous comments on this video, I now understand how pure his music was! Thank again! :)

Art Pepper was great. Read his biography "Straight Life" if you can find it. It's an insight into how screwed up one can get with drugs and ruin a life.
