  • Aeolian is a great solo scale, although I didn't knew theory at all some years ago, I always used Pentatonic and Aeolian to solo... guess it was just instinct again! lol

Thanks for the great lessons Theodore!

  • subbed, thanks for adding me, can't believe I finally get to know some theory :D you're awesome! like all greeks I know =)

  • a re ellada pantou se vrisko

  • I salute you... thanks for the lessons

  • Naiiiled it!

  • dein sound ist grauenhaft

  • @44zastborst :D dachte ich auch ^^

  • Clear, concise, lesson, nice one man, a few of the links for downloading tabs and and backing tracks dont work, like the link for this backing track, rock on Dude, you should get a job at icmp in London you remind me of my teacher Tolis Z, he is also from Greece, crazy Greek shredderz

  • i always get confused with the root notes.. like when you "follow" the root do u just scale and always land on the root for the very last note or what.. just a little explanation would be lovely sir :)

  • dddaaaammmmmnnn

  • "i will stop talking and concentrate on my playing"

even though he just tore shit up

  • tough guitar , wish i had your accent

  • Thanks a lot, I suscribed please continue making videos

  • Why is your guitar distorted that much? wouldnt it sound way better if the guitar has a clean sound?

  • @Mohammed8778

    just overdrive would be better....

  • I have to strongly agree with what everyone else has said so, far. Tziras. You are, by far, the most in-depth, clear and systematically sound teacher I've seen on Youtube so far. Too many people assume that the viewer already has a foundation in certain things, thus, leaving them with more questions oftentimes than before they watched the video.

No questions here though. All answers! :) Subbed.

  • @Pseudopathaso

i am just doing my job....thank you

  • You tech excellent man. The best teaching advice to get budding young guitarists out of thier box early is via teaching what your teaching here tziras. Showing us to follow the chords, and at most basic follow the chords via hitting the roots of them really makes the playing sound so much better than playing a Generic "key" over the whole progression! Awsome mate! Cheers, IC.

  • Thank You Tziras. You are truly the best.

  • Brilliant lesson, and the tune is awesome too. Keep it up dude, really appreciate these! \m/

  • You have a real knack for instruction with great clarity, just the right amount of repetition, and practical application of the theory. Of the MANY instructional music videos I have seen this is one of the best. Thank you.

  • Great Incorporation of that c Aeolian into a blues feel and returning every now and then to the roots gives it much charactor and endless variations.Love It Theo Very Cool Feel

  • perfectly demonstrated

  • ela r ellinara.....!kalos

  • awesome!

  • SonofMuspel is right..can you give us those kind of lesson...best teacher that i see on youtube...tnx..

  • awesome stuff man! but my question is.. how does he make his backtracks?

  • THE BEST TEACHER ON THE WORLD

  • great teacher

  • I think you should give a lesson on how to tell which scales you should use.

    Like ...

How am I supposed to know when to use Aeolian?

    or Something else. Etc ...

  • You are right. It would be helpful to have lessons like that, and i'm definitely no teacher but since it's such a vast to thing to cover (because there are simply way too many chords), it's better to just train your ear to pick up on what scales sound good with certain chords. Obviously this scale sounds good with jazz and minor chords. Just experiment making your own backing tracks and stuff like that and after a while you'll eventually train yourself to pick up on what sounds good with what.

  • this is the 2nd position of the A minor scale starting from 2nd fret same patterns as aeolian that starts at 8th fret

  • Yet another great lesson.

  • Nice lesson master ;)
