I have a FlySky FS-GT3B and want to use it with a Traxxas E Maxx, My question is that on the stock Traxxas receiver there is two channel one(s) for the dual steering servos; does FlySky have a receiver that also have two channel one(s) so that I can use plug in the dual servos?
There isnt any trouble shoot there. the systme was able to bind. In my vxl cars everything is fine and the trims are at o for both. When I pair with my dynamite fuze 6800 kv systme it is binded but does not work right. The throttle trim has to get put to b 30 and does not opperate correct. How do I fix this problem. I bought this system for my tc4 with the fuze 6800 kv and with that car it isnt working.
hey help please I ordered this part there is no dvd in the box I tried to put this system in my tc4 with a fuze 6800kv system, I am not able to get it to function correctly. I put it in my vxl cars and all is good but with the fuze systm it keeps reading that b30 is at 0 and it will not let me use the trottle
I highly recommend this system i use it in my revo 3.3 and i have not problem taking it 150 yards away with no glitching no delays no problemms what so ever. i also own a futaba 3pm 2.4ghz i had on my revo but removed it for 1 reason ths low battery indicator doesent beep till 8volts which is to late mine hite 8volts and my revo never came back 40 mph into a block wall luckly only broke front diff case 15 dollar fix.
well im sure such a serious RCer like yourself would of had as standard on all models a fail safe , loss of signal means instant brakes on full ..........and there is no fail safe built into these flysky recievers ? pretty shit if there is and it didnt work.......mtronics mini water proof fail safe at £8 GBP have never failed me yet and i use one regardless to the built in one my spectrum dx3.0
I recently got one of these, but the problem is that it loses the signal when I try take the rc car about 10 metres away??? Other than that it works fine. Any suggestions guys, any help would be great! Thanks
@ramtrix if your throttle is working as steering then you most likely plugged your servo into channel 2. Channel 1 is for steering and channel 2 is for throttle. Be sure you plug your steering servo into the channel 1 port (Ch1) and the ESC into the channel 2 port (Ch2).
I still feel it's too early in the game to be paying such a small amount of money for a radio. You have to remember that feature sets cost nothing these days, you need to be thinking as hard about build quality. These, like the hobbyKing offerings, look good on paper but they are seriously NASTY things in the hand and will not put up with any level of abuse.
@marcuskeeler yeah but its only 40 usd so if it does brake your only out 40 dollars so u can buy another one. And receivers are only 8 usd so yeah i mean for for the price u can't go wrong
i sure as hell cant believe the price!!! i was about to buy a 2 channel with no screen and running AM for like $80! i can buy almost 3 of these with that money!!!! DAMN
but from hobby king there is more expensive shipping. Hobbypartz and nitrorcx have free shipping for anything over $5. They also have great customer service if something does happen to go wrong. Something I noticed was he was saying gt3b even though he was talking about the origional gt3 to compare it to the gt3b
@lilmorris656 well first off you need something to measure those things in your car, (a tach, maybe a thermo probe?) if you do, then still no, a TRANSMITTER TRANSMITS data, it doesn't RECEIVE data
will this work for the beginner madfire rc nitro will everything work perfect like the reciever wont burn cause its the wrong one will it please answer back
Why Not talk about the important this about this radio?

my fsgt3b works great have 3 cars i run with it the only problem is i have lights on my sc10 but can seem to get the 3rd channel to turn them on and off i tried plugging the leds into the other 3rd channel ports on my other fs recievers and it it powers the lights but no ability to turn them on and off am i doing somnthing wrong im new to led wiring any help would be greatly apprecieated!
hello, i am very interested in buying one of these systems. i have been searching around for a while now trying to get some info on the third channel since finding it. is it just a 2 position switch or can this be used as a 3 position switch? theres not much info about the third channel. it seems like the perfect radio system though. thank you kindly. greatly appreciated

Granted this transmitter was made in a Chinese sweatshop, but still. Can a company like futaba justify a price tag of $400-500 U.S. for a transmitter!? futaba for over a decade now has been nickle and dimming the R/C end user. Their top of the line transmitters do not even have color OLEDs and touch interface. Total ripoff, and I don't want to hear any of the fan boys justify it.
@biped19 my sentiments exactly. Considering how big of a business hobby grade toys are, it's about time someone to make it affordable for the working class.
Your right. This isn't R/C of the 1980s when people were just getting into it. Today it is huge a business. Companies like futaba are diversified into industrial applications. Even though R/C is a smaller segment of their business they still have he capability to offer top quality at a reasonable and competitive price. Every new transmitter they release is just a new body and some new bells and whistles thrown in, wow. futaba took forever adopt 2.4ghz, so much for innovation.
@biped19 Not just Futaba. Spektrum are at it too. The DX3E for example is more expensive than the Flysky (also sold as an Annsman W6), but has far, far less features and... to be honest, it's not exactly better quality either!
Absolutely. I may be picking on futaba a little more, because they are the one of the big dogs, but your right.
What I'm saying may be misconstrued as "whining", but it's not. Just accepting less and less is a loser's game. I own a 3PJS and love it. I used to look at it from time to time and considered upgrading. But, I always wind up saying to myself: "I have a great transmitter that takes FM, PCM and Spektrum. Why would I get rid of the versatility? I even like the feel better.
@biped19 U are dead on in your comment, I think futaba is chinease as well, and there is no way such a good product could be offered so inexpensive without 3rd world wages. You absolutly right, futaba is slackn off, and totally nickle and diming for sure.
@biped19 yeah true and spot on i was gonna get a $350 spektrum but after seeing this i dont think ill spend that , this radio does all the same shit , electronics are electronics at the end of the day its got a brand name on it and thats what your paying for , look how many years it took spektrum to make a 3ch with a backlight while they're peddling the same crap for years milking money , not to mention the SHIT dx3s they made that has countless problems .
what is so special about 2.4ghz rc products, what does it mean? sorry if it is a dumb question i am new at this thank you. can i played the car on 2.4ghz with other cars with different frequency and with the same frequency
@supersanchez1991 hey man thats a good question for a beginner. i myself had to ask someone about this. all it is, is that it doesn't interfere with any other car frequencies. sooo this means that you can have many people running 2.4ghz without any interference. you can also pair the controller to any other 2.4ghz rc product.
The expo on mine doesnt work right.. Can anyone test theirs to see the same? when i set + or - it works right for one direction but when you steer the other direction it has the opposite effect so its not built right i guess. Example: if i give it 50% expo to turn it should make it turn less responsive at the first 50% of the throw each way.. it works when you turn one way, but when you turn the opposite it will be wrong. it is MORE responsive barely turning and slow at full turn that way!
Has anyone got one of these? I was gonna buy a spectrum dx3e but i can buy 2 or 3 of these instead, im curious to know if they are any good i like it from the review anyway.
@poohtray You stupid retard! I'll tell you right now, I'm a lot smarter than you are! And FYI I have built my own Rc's. I don't see any video's on YOUR channel about you building or reviewing ANY RC anything. So shut up and don't say anything untill you know what the heck YOU ARE talking about!!!!!!
@poohtrayYou stupid retard! I'll tell you right now, I'm a lot smarter than you are! And FYI I have built my own Rc's. I don't see any video's on YOUR channel about you building or reviewing ANY RC anything. So shut up and don't say anything until you know what the heck YOU ARE talking about!!!!!!
@traxxasmaxx33 Yes, I built & reviewed RC's before YouTube was ever conceived. While you freelance in cyberspace, I operate models & full-scale vehicles for a living. Besides: I'm not saying anything...I'm typing on a computer. And, I know exactly what I'm typing about. Traxxas is "Ready to Run" - Traxxas credits themselves with starting the RTR craze in RC modeling and I will ridicule you and any Traxxas fan for this outsourced blunder...Anything Traxxas is a POS.
@poohtray Ok dude what is you're problem with Traxxas? I bet when you were a beginner, that you thought it would be nice to have something "ready to run"! And yes, Traxxas DID start the RTR craze. Without them i highly doubt the hobby would be as popular as it is today. And without Traxxas you probably would not have half of the brands that are out there now. With competition comes innovation, and with that comes a better hobby. And that's something you obviously never thought about!
@traxxasmaxx33 Yes, I agree. And, thank you for offering a rational comment...instead of over-controlling. I simply won't buy Traxxas products, anymore, because the last thing I need is another RTR radio (the original topic in this discussion). The popularity of this hobby also means I must wait for amateur-hour to end, so that I can compete in races and fly aircraft. Traxxas has no racing team; therefore, I have no use for Traxxas.
@poohtray alot of actual traxxas owner would highly disagree with you including myself. and with proper gear they can be made to compete against any other manufacter. esp the new pede 4x4. Ooh.. Not to mention traxxas has been 1 Rc company for last years on all RC lists by rc mags and such. No real facts to that comment.
i have the FS-GT2 2.4 radio that im using on my emaxx brushless i built, my castle system is working correctly and it set to have reverse and all that, yet it does not want to go into reverse when i use this flysky radio, what gives? should i rebind perhaps or what? i havent tried swapping radios/receivers with my airtronics i have so i dont know yet if the problem is the radio but i figured i might as well ask while im at it lol. the esc does show the lights indicating forward/stop/rev.
@gruzergrub5000 looks like you need to reprogram the throttle range on the esc. This lets the esc know where the range of throttle is and programs reverse into it. Castle should have instructions on how to do this.
@smokesilver ive tried that a few times, yet it doesnt seem to want to kick into reverse. the lights on the ESC show it working properly, like green if i go forward, yellow when braking red in reverse, but i just stop, no reverse? not sure if its the radio, all the trims are set correctly.
@OrangePHX dude lol. yea the 2.4 one, the traxass radio is fairly basic compared to this one. doesnt mean its bad, it works and it gets the job done. but for half the price you get much more out of this than the traxxas factory radios.
@OrangePHX yeah it most definitely should since you can adjust just about everything on your vehicle, dual rates throttle/brake, etc, all that plays directly into how well your vehicle handles.
Just bought the FS-GT3 to utilize the 4 wheel steering capability on my Maxstone 8 crawler. Its not going to work. No way to adjust steering modes or mix. The 3rd channel is only a on off button. What radio do I need to enjoy the 4 wheel steering on the Maxstone 8?
@jauchiu Futaba, Airtronics, or Spektrum. I use the 3PJ Super for 3 channel / 4 wheel steering on my monster trucks. The programing allows for separate trim & dual rates on the auxiliary channel, & the aux channel is switched.
If you operate crawlers it's possible to use a stick transmitter designed for tanks. Or you can even use an aircraft transmitter, if you center the throttle stick with return springs.
The 3rd channel on the FS-GT3 is designed for a shift/reverse servo or night lights.
mine is on its way ! how can I change the color of the casing , nothing wrong with black , I just like the color blue ?

what is so special about 2.4ghz rc products, what does it mean? sorry if it is a dumb question i am new at this thank you. can i played the car on 2.4ghz with other cars with different frequency and with the same frequency
supersanchez1991 1 year ago

@traxxasmaxx33 Idiots don't know the difference between "your" and YOU'RE. You ARE an idiot...You're an idiot.
Now that my spelling, grammar, and punctuation lesson is over; go learn to build an RC, and then I may actually respect YOUR RTR POS TRAXXAS BS.

Traxxas is "Ready to Run" - Traxxas credits themselves with starting the RTR craze in RC modeling and I will ridicule you and any Traxxas fan for this outsourced blunder...Anything Traxxas is a POS.
poohtray 1 year ago
@poohtray Ok dude what is you're problem with Traxxas? I bet when you were a beginner, that you thought it would be nice to have something "ready to run"! And yes, Traxxas DID start the RTR craze. Without them i highly doubt the hobby would be as popular as it is today. And without Traxxas you probably would not have half of the brands that are out there now. With competition comes innovation, and with that comes a better hobby. And that's something you obviously never thought about!
traxxasmaxx33 1 year ago
@traxxasmaxx33 Yes, I agree. And, thank you for offering a rational comment...instead of over-controlling. I simply won't buy Traxxas products, anymore, because the last thing I need is another RTR radio (the original topic in this discussion). The popularity of this hobby also means I must wait for amateur-hour to end, so that I can compete in races and fly aircraft. Traxxas has no racing team; therefore, I have no use for Traxxas.

@traxxasmaxx33 Happy contrails!
poohtray 1 year ago
@poohtray alot of actual traxxas owner would highly disagree with you including myself. and with proper gear they can be made to compete against any other manufacter. esp the new pede 4x4. Ooh.. Not to mention traxxas has been 1 Rc company for last years on all RC lists by rc mags and such. No real facts to that comment.

i have the FS-GT2 2.4 radio that im using on my emaxx brushless i built, my castle system is working correctly and it set to have reverse and all that, yet it does not want to go into reverse when i use this flysky radio, what gives? should i rebind perhaps or what? i havent tried swapping radios/receivers with my airtronics i have so i dont know yet if the problem is the radio but i figured i might as well ask while im at it lol. the esc does show the lights indicating forward/stop/rev.
gruzergrub5000 1 year ago
@gruzergrub5000 looks like you need to reprogram the throttle range on the esc. This lets the esc know where the range of throttle is and programs reverse into it. Castle should have instructions on how to do this.
smokesilver 1 year ago
@smokesilver ive tried that a few times, yet it doesnt seem to want to kick into reverse. the lights on the ESC show it working properly, like green if i go forward, yellow when braking red in reverse, but i just stop, no reverse? not sure if its the radio, all the trims are set correctly.

Hey. Would you say this is better than the Traxxas transmitter 2.4ghz?
OrangePHX 1 year ago
@OrangePHX everythings better than the traxxas transmitters, theyre so dated.
gruzergrub5000 1 year ago
@gruzergrub5000
Even the 2.4ghz one? In what ways is this better?
I'm mainly concerned with how responsive and quick the transmitter is.
OrangePHX 1 year ago
@OrangePHX dude lol. yea the 2.4 one, the traxass radio is fairly basic compared to this one. doesnt mean its bad, it works and it gets the job done. but for half the price you get much more out of this than the traxxas factory radios.
gruzergrub5000 1 year ago
@gruzergrub5000 traxxas**
gruzergrub5000 1 year ago
@gruzergrub5000
Yeah it's basic compared to this one.
but all functions aside, does this one perform better while driving?
OrangePHX 1 year ago
@OrangePHX yeah it most definitely should since you can adjust just about everything on your vehicle, dual rates throttle/brake, etc, all that plays directly into how well your vehicle handles.
gruzergrub5000 1 year ago
Just bought the FS-GT3 to utilize the 4 wheel steering capability on my Maxstone 8 crawler. Its not going to work. No way to adjust steering modes or mix. The 3rd channel is only a on off button. What radio do I need to enjoy the 4 wheel steering on the Maxstone 8?
jauchiu 1 year ago
@jauchiu You will need some thing like a futaba 3PK or 4PK or spektrum DX3S or R.
mac83194 1 year ago
@jauchiu Futaba, Airtronics, or Spektrum. I use the 3PJ Super for 3 channel / 4 wheel steering on my monster trucks. The programing allows for separate trim & dual rates on the auxiliary channel, & the aux channel is switched.
If you operate crawlers it's possible to use a stick transmitter designed for tanks. Or you can even use an aircraft transmitter, if you center the throttle stick with return springs.
The 3rd channel on the FS-GT3 is designed for a shift/reverse servo or night lights.
