  • One time on the x box 360 version i got 60 uef destroyers to do something similar on the Bermuda locket map...dunno how though, just ordered them to support my ground and air army by attacking the enemy point defense turrets. They just sailed inland, literally.

  • LOL, amazing. Wouldn't want my Gatling Bots to bump into an enemy one of those! SupcomFA is where I live. The game is the best strategy title out there, IMO. The depth in it is amazing, and you'll always find something new possible. Great Glitch, WA.

    I wish FA didn't kill my processor so 2.8GHZ processor so badly. :( I prefer it over the normal SC.

    Think you are quite correct - FA is far superior to SC. It's not really the new race that makes it better, it is all the improvements to the commands and interface.

    Have you tried it with the lower settings? Might reduce the slow down to acceptable playing levels. Lowering the unit allowance may help also, as would playing against fewer enemies.

    Yeah, I put my game on low and I see no change in performance once I get to a certain stage in the game - the one that usually causes me to lag whenever I run it on default (Ultra high)

    First, the bottleneck when playing SupCom is usually the CPU, NOT the graphics card! SupCom was the first game to truly support multiple cores. if you have a single core, no matter how good it is, it will lag.

    Secondly, one of the main things that slows everything down are all the range  circles, radr cirlces and so on of the units! There is a menu where you can disable them seperately.

  • trust me dude, i've seen far worse. in fact, compared to most other games i play, this one is near perfection. besides, most glitches in other games are harmful. glitches like these in supcom are downright fun and hilarious

  • That is a cheat not a glitch u used the "popupunitmenu" didn't you.

  • Nope, this was added almost 2 years ago on one of the original builds when the game was somewhat bug-riddled.

    It was also during ONLINE play where there was no option to enable cheating.

    Yeah, this glitch exists in SupCom2 as well. I've seen my Cybran and UEF battleships randomly going through the ground and acting like it is water. Though, in 2 it happens when a bunch of units are crammed up against a water-side cliff and somehow jam one through the cliff face.

  • @Dastreus lol i accualy won a game that way all i had was like 5 Atlantises and they happened to be glitched under land and i just made planes (i had stockpiled like 90k mass)

  • Well, these days multiplayer is crap (to be perfectly honest).

    I much preferred SupCom back in the good ol' days of when this video was created (pre-FA) -

    Less slowdown on big maps, more varied game play from players etc.. It's the same with every RTS game though, after a while the technique is mastered and everyone uses it, meaning the variation we all once loved in RTS' disappears.

  • the navy isn't supposed to be responsive cus ships have to turn, but I've never had that before

  • Larger navies are always clumsy, they just fiddle around everywhere and get stuck, sometimes they even pointlessly go the wrong way for a while, before turning around. The ship AI has improved quite a bit though since I made this video.

  • Lol i had that glitch too, and i maded several more, handy for defense, they're hard to destroy, and another glitch i had that was over before i could film it: The monkeylord got with one leg in the water and started fireing his torpedoes on the commander, like half the map away :")

  • Creating a navy is not so easy especially when it comes to AI. Act of War : High Treason has this similar problem through navy was not part of skrimish only for mission. A mod to play navy for skirmish has come. It looks much better but supcom looks great.

  • I belive it happened when the ship was created, it was getting stuck while coming out of the docks, ran aground and then, it wouldn't go back in the water but instead it was a ground unit - It would have done great if we got attacked.

    GPG really need to fix the fiddlyness of navies, they are so inresponsive and clumsy.
