This is absolutely amazing! She was the first Lucy I ever heard and it's touching here to see that she evidently loves performing with all her heart. Also, I don't blame the lady at 1:26 for crying... :)
When I hear singers like Linda, it makes me wonder what's wrong with mainstream pop. These are the types of voices that should be on the radio, on mtv, on vma, on AMA, on grammys, etc.
Yes Drag0nsknight, She is "hawt". I guess she is in her 40's by now. Her voice is incredible too. The funny thing is I understand that she was once married to a song writer ( cant remember who) but he was kind of a nerdy looking guy. I guess even the nerdy ones get hot women too. Lucky guy
@alizawong She has only a good vocal technique but the exactly same way of singing of every other musical singer like her. Voice without personality, not an own style of singing. And she's nasal in a lot of part for example at 2.02 . Is a nasal voice tipical of all the musical singers with no personality in voice and in interpretation. Barbara Streisand has personality, Shirley Bassey has personality. Whitney,Celine, Aretha have personality. Adele,Leona and Jennifer Hudson are inconfondible.
@darien0extreme I actually strongly disagree with the statement that she projects little personality into her singing. She sings 'Man of La Mancha' with more personality than I could believe. I think she sings beautifully, and I have a lot of respect for her. It's all very well and good to cite people who sing different music genres and say they have more personality, but what's the point? She's incredibly talented and accomplished, why not just appreciate that without throwing in comparisons?
I can't even describe how much I admire this woman. She is so incredibly talented! I remember I first heard her when I was, like, 10 years old and I instantly loved everything she sang.
Fabulous! Her voice sounds even better now than in the 90's. And she understands Lucy's vulnerability, strength, and heart- and is able to convey it effortlessly. Amazing.
Such an emotionally stirring performance. It made my heart stop. I so wish I had as deep and gorgeous a voice as Ms Linda does. She's my favorite singer of all.
