i dont get the part where he painted the kit. for example the feet he painted the yellow part then covered it up with black so how did he make the yellow color pop back out he didn't even used any masking tape...

@player2pushstart i suppose he use masking tape but seems the masking didnt really seems to be too obvious IMO

@zdiect looks like theres some Tamiya masking tape on the yellow panels, its almost the same colour yellow as the part, so its not easy to see.

not sure what its called on your side of the pond but we call them "krokodil klämmor" trans. "gator clips" they are often used as electrical cable clamps, you can probably find them in radio shack or and eletrical surplus store...

They are just Alligator Clamps, go to any hardware store and ask for them. Also get some wooden dowels to make the extension or do what I do and use the runners from the kits.
