@DJSunnyD22 naw you dont need alot of strength to do flares just a lil bit of arm strength to hold your body up and stamina and endurance and a good kicking leg and hip rotation to keep going. my flares are not the best flares in the world but atleast there pretty high.
@LilBjin03 It took me about 2 or 3 weeks to get one flare (practicing it daily). 1 year to get 2 flares (barely practicing it). And out of no where i did 8 flares. Ever since then, i could flare non stop

@Barnaby2009 Alot of u guys have that same problem.. The cause for that is either you're kicking your right leg too much up, or too much to the right. You should be kicking it diagnally up-right, while moving both legs in circular motions. Also keep your legs extended at all times, it buckles because you're too scared to fall on your butt

@hazemi96 Spread out your fingers and lean more to the side your fingers are pointing. Left hand should be pointing exactly to the left, and right hand should be pointing exactly to the right..
@SeasonTrue Lean as much as u can. When ur on ur right hand, lean to the RIGHT. When ur on both hands with ur legs in FRONT of u, lean BACK. When ur on ur left hand, lean to the LEFT. When ur on both hands with ur legs BEHIND u, lean FOWARD. And also, each of ur legs should be making little circles every time u kick them out.. Does that make sense?... I hope this helps u
@bboyzVirus127 Make sure u keep ur legs in a "V" shape at all times. U won't do a full flare the first couple days u practice it, so dont think u are doing it wrong. but in a matter of time, u will i promise. All it takes is practice.

Just have some more practice and be more patient. You will get it eventually.

@80sbabyBGIRL Thats the first time i've ever heard of that through the years of teaching! Make sure ur right leg swings 'behind' ur left leg not to the right of it. And also swing ur right leg diagnally (up-right) kinda tryna knee ur head. Keep ur legs in a V-shape.
@uMaDJ It takes time. Everyone is different some people even took like a year just to get one Flare down. But don't worry if you keep practicing you will get it.
Do you need flexible legs for this? I can only spread my legs 70° wide by itself in the air (or 100° forced on the ground). Also, do you need to kick "REALLY HARD" to get more air?
@AeriaIistic Well ofcourse you need to be somewhat flexible, but once u start to practice it, you'll slowly start to get more flexible in some areas. Pretty much all u need ur legs to go is 100° maybe 90°. U need to kick really hard for somewhat air but mostly for the momentum.
