wow... it rocks even HARDER with horns. i feel like everything that was ever done, frank zappa could go and do a satire on it and it would be ten times better.
anyone who objects to this video is obviously ignorant of anything genius. I would agree with the person who claims Led Zeppelin is one of the most genius bands ever, but I compliment Zappa for making irony of the whole thing. Zappa was the first Weird Al. He made fun of pop music. It's what he did. He made hippy music while at the same time his lyrics slammed "flower power".. this is his way of mocking the most "popular rock song of 70's metal".
@TheGageTaylor I was offended for a few minutes...and then I got with the program. It's great...and it's not disrespectful. Funny. When you have the guitarist and horn section learn and play the solo note for note there's appreciation being shown by them.
@omallyster they are just messing about. check out Montana. Pretty catchy and easily accessible zappa tune. Sweet solo too, and i'm not much for solo's really.

La grandezza di Zappa sta nell'ironizzare su una canzone così giocata sull'atmosfera, proprio rovinandola; ciò però non di certo con ignoranza musicale: ad esempio l'assolo sfasato (ma attenzione: a tempo!!) secondo me è un colpo di genio.

check out young mattrach, over 40 originals with him playing all instruments, he is the next zappa, a true musical genius, and fantastic guitar player, just turned 18 sponsered by fender at 17, no 1 in almost every catagory on you tube france, 62 most subed musician on all you tube, 36,000,000 total views now, chck him out u wont regret it! \nn/
He has wonderful skills (the ones from a genius)... but his music is still very mediocre... nothing like what Zappa did at his age... remember that Zappa admired Varese and other genius of music. Mattrach souns more commercial.
have u heard all his music? and keep in mind hes playing all instruments, recording in his bedroom, with basic equipment! his song you, is great, my life shows all his fav styles in one very cool compo. his sound is very unique, varied, fresh, and musical, as 4 a commercial sound playing neo-classical and shread on a 52 tele. was unheard of, till he did it, and theres nothing commercial about that! i know what your saying, hes a product of his idols, butt still original!
Frank was the greatest. Anyone who doesn't get his music just doesn't want to actually listen to it. There is so much more to it than the plastic music out there these days.
actually her was just a wierd guy like that, in fact weird al did an ode to him. Genius in France off Poodle Hat is in the style of him, and even uses his son, dweezle for the solo

I like Zappa, but I LOVE Led Zeppelin. And Jimmy's playing.
