  • No, I'm a hardcore lefty, I don't do anything with my right hand. To date I have never dropped the gun during a reload in practice or live fire, there's grip tape on the trigger guard and stippling on the sight rib for extra security.

  • Seems like you're a natural right hand shooter. I would feel real uncomfortable switching hands to hold the pistol while reloading.

  • As a lefty new to revolver shooting this vid is great!!! I know someone else already asked this, but I would really like to know what revolver this is. It looks to me like a stainless model 66 taurus or S&W 686 but I'm not really sure... Also I'm curious what you wrapped the grip with. Thanks.

  • @TheMr45acp It's a S&W 625-8, 5" barrel. This is 99% the revolver used for USPSA Revolver division, since it takes moonclips in .45 ACP (fastest reload possible). The grips are just something I've been working on, mostly duct tape with an outer layer of athletic tape for grip. This video is pretty old, I'll try to get a new one up soon.

  • Thank you for posting this.

  • Lefties unite! Thanks for the close up. Much better! Really help explain how you do those excellent reloads. Super quick!
