I think it is a pretty decent speech. Would not call it 'funniest', but it's a good one!

I am going to have one shortly myself and I would be very pleased if I performed as well. What I personally do not like is reading from a sheet of paper. Though, I have not yet experienced giving a presentation without any ppt background myself. Will do it totally without though, as I prefer to remain some flexibility.

My Brother committed suicide last year, just before my sister’s wedding, where I had to give a speech.

I couldn’t really be bothered dancing round the topic, so just played it for laughs, with lots of jokes about him ‘hanging around’, being a real ‘swinger’ & ‘at the end of his tether’. Never liked the guy anyway!
