I used to be HARDCORE DC fanatic. I'm talking buy-every-DC-book-every-week Hardcore. DC = AWESOME and Marvel = BOO! THEY SUCK!

Until I slowly began to realize that DC didn't have all the best stories, and Marvel had some pretty cool titles. So yeah, used to be all about DC, but now I'm happily reading both.

As for Manhunter; I was one of the fans who sent letters to DC demanding they continue the series. Andreyko, like Manhunter, is amazing.

I believe in a few months the Joker's Asylum TPB will be out collecting all the wonderful stories. But yeah, the Two-Face story leaves you satisfied.

This is just my own personal opinion, but I loathe what Busiek and Bagley are doing.

I'll always remember the good times I had with the first weekly series, 52, and try to leave it at that.

i love the prices after the title! is that a new thing or have i just not noticed before? or is it just to prove the point about two-face year one?

You know what, you nailed it; I was trying to prove a point with the price of Two-Face: Year One, then afterward I thought "You know, I should do this with every book!"

i remember seeing the dc halloween special for $7.99, which works out to over €10 for it by comic store conversion. i just wasn't going to be ripped off, despite it's size.

luckily, some four months later i found it in the 25 cent bin. to be honest it really wasn't worth much more - although the batzarro tale was fun.

i try to keep a close eye on the price hikes around certain profitable franchises... as that extra dollar on the movie tie ins and the crossovers build up

I remember that Halloween Special! I also remember that because of it, I stayed clear of the Christmas Special because of how bad it was.
