It's generally accepted that when people talk of "the rapture" it's the "catching up" or "to snatch away" of Church age believers before the Tribulation (in Thessalonians) The greek word means the same thing so yes it is biblical! .
I see where the 2 witnesses are "caught up" by God in similar fashion but don't see where it says the 144,000 are anything but "sealed" / protected by God.
Revelation 14:1 has them standing on Mount Zion (Jerusalem) with Jesus.

According to Revelation 6:13-17- it doesnt say anything about no disappearances of anyone. Matter of fact the whole chapter 6 doesnt speak on disappearances. It's pretty clear he isn't coming back. The gospels said he was coming back during that generation, before some of the apostles died. They are all dead and no Jesus.

I have a -3 but not one christian coward can refute the fact that Jesus said he would be back during the lives of the people he was talking to. Matt 24:34, Matt 26:64, Mark 13:30, Luke 21:32, John 21:22, Romans 16:20, and there are more. I've read the bible "in context" as a christian. It is nonsense. Go read all of those versus, then try to come up with a good excuse on why 2000 years later Jesus still isn't here.

Don't forget Mt 16:28, Mt 10:24, Mk 9:1, Lk 9:27. Jesus is not returning. By virtue of the fact that he was wrong he proved he was not god and must therefore be dead if he was a historical figure at all. Instead of taking scripture at face value you are trying to write what you think in. It says "I looked" so it was a vision of Jesus standing on earth with the 144,000Mount Zion is Jerusalem or the Holy City.
It was a vision John saw.
Noah died on the earth after the flood.
He didn't get "snatched up" or "caught up" in the air by God or raptured.
You really need to study more and quit adding your own views into the scripture.

It's generally accepted that when people talk of "the rapture" it's the "catching up" or "to snatch away" of Church age believers before the Tribulation (in Thessalonians) The greek word means the same thing so yes it is biblical! .
I see where the 2 witnesses are "caught up" by God in similar fashion but don't see where it says the 144,000 are anything but "sealed" / protected by God.
Revelation 14:1 has them standing on Mount Zion (Jerusalem) with Jesus.

2. the 144'000,
3. the two witnesses,

I used to be a christian - was raised on The Great Tribulation - had nightmares my whole childhood about being "left behind". Now I know that Revelations was a bad acid trip. It's no more prophesy than Pink Floyd. And the Bible is a work of mostly fiction, written years after supposed events, by ignorant men, from another culture and language, translated to english by other men. After learning the Hebrew language I then began to understand God and his character and his Word. I even become assured of a Holy God and his existence. Please check again. The only reference to churches occurred as instruction that the prophecies were to be written to the churches prior to the prophecies (Rev. Ch. 1,2,3, 22) No church is mentioned in ch. 19. Gods wrath fell upon the Egyptians while He spared the Israelites. Gods wrath will fall upon unbelievers while He spares His sheep. Please read Matt.24:29-31. Reject Darbyism-believe Scripture.

According to Revelation 6:13-17- it doesnt say anything about no disappearances of anyone. Matter of fact the whole chapter 6 doesnt speak on disappearances. A dissapearance is when someone is missing and their location is unknown. Revelation 6:12-17 talks about people HIDING- not missing. The Word of God is truth- but the rapture theory is a lie

Its just a BOOK. Its a book that has been translated and retranslated hundreds of times. Passages and quotes from this book have been changed to suit one belief over another.

It's pretty clear he isn't coming back. The gospels said he was coming back during that generation, before some of the apostles died. They are all dead and no Jesus.

choupick, Look at the text closer, that's not what He said, plus note carefully the context. (As for this vid, it's good, but Revelation has way more than 1/4 of the population dying, easily over 2/3 when the different judgments are combined)

I have a -3 but not one christian coward can refute the fact that Jesus said he would be back during the lives of the people he was talking to. Matt 24:34, Matt 26:64, Mark 13:30, Luke 21:32, John 21:22, Romans 16:20, and there are more. I've read the bible "in context" as a christian. It is nonsense. Go read all of those versus, then try to come up with a good excuse on why 2000 years later Jesus still isn't here.

Don't forget Mt 16:28, Mt 10:24, Mk 9:1, Lk 9:27. Jesus is not returning. By virtue of the fact that he was wrong he proved he was not god and must therefore be dead if he was a historical figure at all. Religion that has men paid to find tricky ways of weasling past what these verses are evidence of is sadly the cornerstone of average modern american thought.
