Brandon is one of the my favorite CBs in the league and I'm not even a Chiefs fan. He, Berry and Carr are going to make KC's defensive backfield a great unit for a long time.

I love this kid so much, he's the first defensive jersey I've bought since Derrick Thomas. We're starting a 3-4 defense this year which will be about more man-to-man, so I look for Brandon and Bernard to have MONSTER seasons!

As good as McKelvin and Rodgers-Cromartie are, I think Flowers is the best of the three. He may not have their speed but he is physical and covers really well.
McKelvin has been a better returner than in coverage, and DCR has been a ballhawk recently especially in the playoffs, but he is not as mechanically sound as Flowers, he has the best hips I have ever seen.
Yeah, No homo lol, it's an extremely important part of being a cover corner. You have to have fluid hip movement because it allows you to move out of your backpedal and into cuts smoothly to stay with receivers.
He isn't getting much love because he plays for such a bad team but the was hands down the best rookie CB this year. All the guys who went before him in the draft were just nickelbacks, Flowers started from week 1.

As good as McKelvin and Rodgers-Cromartie are, I think Flowers is the best of the three. He may not have their speed but he is physical and covers really well.

McKelvin has been a better returner than in coverage, and DCR has been a ballhawk recently especially in the playoffs, but he is not as mechanically sound as Flowers, he has the best hips I have ever seen.

Yeah, No homo lol, it's an extremely important part of being a cover corner. You have to have fluid hip movement because it allows you to move out of your backpedal and into cuts smoothly to stay with receivers.

Yeah, he's been the best rookie CB this year. All the guys in front of him are just nickelbacks and he started from week 1 and hasn't looked back. He's been by far the most shut down of them all. However McKelvin has probably been the biggest playmaker from a returner standpoint, and DCR is only starting because Eric Green got hurt.

i know talib (prob misspelled that) but kansas's cb was the highest thought of CB, but i dont think you get much better than flowers. ive watched him play for a while now and hes shut down the passing game. hes made some of the most unbelielable diving interceptions where he just comes out of no where. every year, i keep on thinking well were never going to be able to replace that CB for va tech,but each time one leaves, it seems we get another. D hall, jimmy williams, flowers, now macho is next

This guy might have been the diamond of round 2. He should of gone in round 1. "The experts" say he would have been a high first round if he was two tenths of a second faster. This guy is a beast, and his ball-hawking, hard-hitting, dominating style of play make two tenths of a second seem trivial. Someone pinch me. I just can't belive that KC just had their best draft in 15 years, when they most needed it. This will be an intersting season, to say the least.

Wow! I havent felt this good about a K.C. draft since Ive been a fan. Still cant believe ole Carl finally did something right. I think we are in store for some awesome plays by this kid! Defense started off looking good last year. This is the year where we really step it up. Offense my not be there just yet? But that will be our focus next year I bet. We still need one more great Wide Receiver!

i think the word "rebuilding", is a bunch of bullshit...classic example when we had the great joe montana everyone already was saying that he was not going to make an impact because he was too old..what does joe do??? he takes us to the afc championship game..the furthest the chiefs hav ever been since i've been a chiefs fan..then joe retires and everyone screams "rebuilding", instead we shock everyone and hav the best record in the league..my point?? i think every year the chiefs are contenders

Its not in the case of KC, they dropped quite a bit of vets and are basically starting over. They have a few vets, but its a very very young team. Someone on a chiefs board calculated their age and they are like 26 years now.

Even the Owner (Clark Hunt) to the Head Coach (Herman Edwards) has said they are rebuilding. I will stick to what they say more then some cowboy fan. No disrespect to you, but they are rebuilding. I am a Chiefs fan, but they will not be better then 5-11 this year.

the only thing that i was agreeing with was that rebuilding was an overrated term- i look at rebuilding as tearing down the base of a franchise and starting off new- kc still has some of their key veteran players so i didn't really see what they are doing as "rebuilding"

The Chiefs are most definitely rebuilding. When you trade your best player and the best DE in the league, that means your rebuilding.
