  • @hilliesse Je crois que oui, moi ausie

  • This is such a good video.

  • I always wondered who the actress is that plays the bride from the other wedding in the final scene....

  • The lead singer in the video so reminds me of actor Chevy Chase.

  • @roosevelthighschool He is Greg Kihn

  • Is this Greg's only Top 10 hit?

  • @roosevelthighschool I think 'The Break Up Song" was top 10 I think. That's a great song too!

  • Interviewed Greg about 5 years ago. Gave me a great interview for my radio show. Down to earth. Laid back. Very funny guy.

  • just did a killer re mix to this song

  • just did a killer re mix to this song

  • nice deep soul groove by these white dudes

  • is that david letterman?

  • LOL.. I totally forgot about the raising the veil scene. Awesome....

  • Hit #2 pop, #5 rock in Billboard. Anybody seen his cameo in Weird Al Yankovic's 'I lost on 'Jeopardy'? God bless!

  • i lost on jeapordy

  • In retrospect, this reminds me a little of "The Graduate" meets "Night of the Living Dead".

  • @Teflon65 lol - but the mom ain't no Mrs Robinson.

  • Is Greg himself in this video?

  • Love this song! Thanks!

  • Haven't heard this gem in a long time. It's so great to watch the video again after all these years (I think this video dates back to 81 or 82) and it's still as original and creepy as it was back when it first aired.

  • This song was great back in 1983, but it sounds even better today!! It's timeless. I love it more now than ever.

  • He's also a writer, have an autographed copy of his book.

  • My favorite moment was when he breaks through the door and it cuts to a Super 8 film version of the "Happy" couple leaving in a hearse no less lol. Maybe someone knows where this was filmed but it looks to me like the interior was the Kaiser Convention center in Oakland. I saw Skid Row with Pantera as the opening act there in 1991. It was a freaking awesome show.

  • I saw him with Pat Travers and Rick Derringer it was a great show.

    Thanks for posting :)

  • What more can i say.. the 80's man! the 80's! kick ass 3

  • But did you noticed he already got a ring check at 1:56... 58. Maybe from his first wife. hahahahaha.

  • Those were the days when music was fun, good to hear and original.

  • I don't understand what happens at scene 2:03.

  • His dream turns into a nightmare

  • @roosevelthighschool

I guess he mean to say that marriage is ruining the love you can have for someone. Because it is not righteous to live in a free relationship. Thus being free is bad. This being married is a trap for simple minds (and potential benefits for others). But I'm reaching.

  • being free is not bad

  • I think he finally is realizing he is marrying a dead soul and is going to be miserable for the rest of his life.

  • Love the opening line: "where were you when I needed you?"

  • que hermosa voz... =)

  • the songs from the 80's like this one that didn't use any synths were the better 80's songs, and sound much fresher today.

  • Simply the best song of the early to mid 80's. I remember hearing this song on the radio in my mom's car when I was little. Thank You, hrandall55.

  • thanks for your comment .. just one of the best bands of the 80's

  • It's not in stereo until the last 10 seconds.

  • I was Driveing an Olds Vista Cruiser back in 82,,,

  • I have always admired music from the 80's and this is no exception. Thank You.

  • este esta mejor que el otro, gracias desde lima peru!

  • love the 80's

  • This is one of the best pop dance tracks of 1983, has an infectious groove, with excellent hamonious vocals, quality 80's music!!

  • Thank you for your commentary

  • I was 19 back in 1983.

I had just fallen in love with the Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser and was on my first of what would eventually be three '69 Vistas (the year Eric had on "That '70s Show") over the years.

I had a list of "Top 100 Vista Cruising Songs" back then.

"Jeopardy" was #1 on that list.
