  • Nice vids chum.

  • Natalie portmans shaved head u r awesome!!!!

  • yo how do you alter the BPM of a drum kit?

  • @oplax2 hey sorry i'm not sure. i've never used one in AM before... try out the forums on audiomulch's website?

  • Where can you find How low acapella? I looked on google but cant find.

  • @eae1994 It was on jamglue before downloads were disabled. Not sure where to get it anymore.

  • @lllatomlll I know this sort of seems needy but could you post it on youtube?

  • @techhomo sorry..i'm not going to post it on youtube.

  • @lllatomlll do you know any sites like jamglue?

  • @eae1994 i do not...I'm sure you can understand why jamglue was shut down and why similar public sites do not exist...

  • Just a quick question regarding samples, I have trouble getting my samples the right length I guess. They always seem to come to 5 or 10 bars which aren't very flexible, have you any advice for cutting better samples or is it a matter of the songs? For example, longer samples? Any Advice would be much appreciated, keep up the good work bro.

  • @tripletroubletilidie - Sounds like you are adjusting the pitch based on the bar length and not the tempo. It's a balance between bar length and project BPM. I would recommend changing that 5 to 4 and slowing down the tempo, or change it to a 6 and increase the tempo. Same with the 10 bar sample..make it 8 or 12.

In some way it is a matter of the songs too. It is difficult to pair up two samples that have a very different BPM.

As far as cutting samples go, just make sure the ends are precise

  • Thanks dude, I'll give it a go tonight.

  • Got considerably better at using it (still not good though ha) last night, cheers for the help brother!

  • also people should know that if you hold the mute, you can time it to mute/unmute exactly when you release

  • it will always unmute at the start of the next bar. it will not start in the middle, ever. i know what you're saying though...if you hold it down and pretty much release a split second before the next bar starts it is more "instantaneous" feeling.

what happens if you need to unmute 2 samples? that's why having the samples start at the next bar can work to your advantage timing wise.

  • A good place to get a lot of instrumentals and acapellas, is jamglue. They may not have the greatest quality, but there is nothing I haven't been able to find.

  • Yup I agree.

  • Lots of questions answered thanks much

  • Nice!

I found the acapella and instrumental stuff on my own by searching on the interwebs and not being dense as I was when I asked you where and how you did your acapellas, etc. xD

    Thanks for putting this out!

  • Ha wasn't directed towards you man! I get the question a lot...I'm not here to plug specific websites. Google has all the answers where someone should go for instrumentals/acapellas. I forgot to mention that there are torrents available too if that's your thing...
