The guitar is typically Nugent, but the vocals are "very 80's". Could have been any forgettable band form that era, rings bells of Men Without Hats and Wang Chung. (look up their hits Safety Dance and Dance Hall Days, respectively)
I can't help it, the repetitiveness of the lyrics gets on my nerves.
I used to not care much for this song when I was younger but now I'm really starting to like it, this song should get as much airplay on the classic rock stations like "Strangehold" and "Cat Scratch Fever" does
@MadManLoomis I think they would play this song on VH1 Classic's "Rock Fest" or "All Star Jams" cause I have seen Ted Nugent's "Bound And Gagged" on "Rock Fest" before.
@MadManLoomis Well, you won' find it on Metal Mania because this isn't a metal song, but it's still a good tune. VH1 Classic is good stuff, too bad it's not part of my satellite package.
Miami Vice the best? For Christs sakes, it was the same plot every week: every time Tubbs or Crocket hooked up with a chick, they signed her death warrent. Like wearing a red shirt on Star Trek. That girl was toast. Week after week. The only thing that kept it together was the guest stars.
@hellooldfriend617 That's not entirely true, I've been watching the show for the last month on NBC's site and every episode has been different. Sometimes they get the really memorable episodes like the episode where the freaky guy who breaks into people's houses eating raw meat from their freezers and covers himself with sugar then draws some weird shit on the wall and leaves. One of Crockett's girlfriends was a flight attendant who had drugs in her GI tract, that wasn't his fault
@hellooldfriend617 Crockett's other girlfriend Theresa was a drug addict doctor, she went to rehab and shit. Also not his fault. The first girlfriend was an architect, that relationship interfered with his job so that ultimately ended. Very few of his relationships ended in death. Tubb on the other hand has lost at least one woman to a jealous sibling, the Calderone sister. The other girlfriend lived, she was played by the same actress who played the lady from "the great mccarthy".
@hellooldfriend617 The only relationship death that was his fault was Caitlin Davies, the guy Crockett got out of prison a season ago really did kill the people he was on death row for but decided to mess with Crockett's head by being really good at pretending to me innocent.
@mmdghr im in michigan, not concord but didnt hear about it. besides that ( not to be spammy) check out my video "the figgz-horsepower" its an original from a band i found
Damn I loved this in Miami Vice! Episode is dynamite and with this song, the combination is something beyond words. The best TV-series ever and this legendaric track. Vive la 80's!
Hmm. It's true, this song was a spectacular accompaniment to the Miami Vice episode in which it was used.
Ted, himself, is...an ass. Hey, that's just my opinion. He's way off the charts of my politics. I have no patience for him. But. But, he is also very talented, and I always give him his props where talent is concerned.
@oldaxekid Ted doesn't answer to anybody except Ted. As for Aldo Nova, he hasn't recorded anything in 26 years. Ted's been playing guitar for 50 years: of course there are going to be variations.
Being from Michigan and also being a 2nd Amendment supporter I have to like Terrible Ted, and this song is one of his best in my opinion. Yeah, he is horn dog, but you all say that like it is a bad thing ,sheesh!
Kind of fucked up that Uncle Ted has a little girl wearing make up in this video...seeing how he dated and screwed an underage girl when he was in his limelight days. He actually got permission from the underaged girls parents to take her with him...what a horn dog! No wonder he's not president!
Ted wrote the song about his one time under aged girl friend. He convinced the childs parents in to signing over full legal guardianship of her to him. They broke up after a few years. With that being said, you now have a new under standing to the real name of the song that Ted intended, "Little Miss Danger Ass"
another Ted song that was used as a Miami Vice episode and the one he appearred in was Angry Young Man from the Little Miss dangerous album!!!!! I'm not sure which season it was in!!!!!!
It was season 2 as well and the episode was called "Definatly Miami" ..great show indeed..one of the best..Actually Little Miss Dangerouse will be on tomorrow at 3 central on Sleuth Channell!
