This game was so fun. Unfortunately for me, a demon has possessed the disk and now it is forever cursed, I've tried performing all I could to vanquish the dark energy, but alas, the disk is now so deeply woven with demonic corruption that it is beyond recovery.

@LittleMissBuzzkill I have a Vista and it works. Go to "My Computer" with the disk in the drive and right click the Sim Safari Icon. Hit "Explore". Double click the SMSAFARI folder and find the picture of a Zebra that also says SMSAFARI. Right click THAT and hit "properties", and then "compatability". Check "run this in compatability mode for..." and choose Windows 95.

unfortunately these awesome early sim games were ms-DOS based, which stopped being compatable with windows after Windows 98. So XP and up wont play them. But if you find a way around that, lemme know! I'd love to play these games again!
