Ironic, indeed! It always seems that those who protest most loudly against any perceived indignity are quite often guilty of the very thing against which they protest. (Jimmy Swaggart & Ted Haggard come to mind here, but it's not limited to Evangelical Christianity, by a long shot). Perhaps it's an attempt by the protester to divert attention from his own guilt, or even a way to appease his own conscience. Justice & truth always seem to prevail in the end, though. Blessed be.
