i can't seem to eat fast food anymore...i remember when a mcdonalds hamburger was 16 cents and it did.nt sit in my stomach for two days like now... : )-
@thetruthergirls Sonia you were complaining about all the mega stores, fast food, malls, and massive groceries and all I could think was yeah WELCOME TO THE MIDWEST where the people are brainwashed but at least the weather sucks. Then I remembered you were in Canada. I'm an Indiana boy born a Hoosier and probably die a Hoosier, but I've always lived in cities and the Krogers here always has kefir, bolthouse farms, zola, pom, and good shit like that. Actually I recently bought blood oranges 4 f
GOOD VIDEO SONIA!! I've rented office space over the years, they make it impossible to afford renting for small businesses, while the mega stores have huge tax writeoffs and economies of scale benefits ... it's all by design, they control the energy, utilities and what we eat
Well aren't you guys lucky. You can just fly back home to your oasis while us "Hatters" are stuck dealing with this crap every day. Now that most of our small businesses are gone we need to change the "superstores" by buying wholesome foods. Our dollar is our vote and it is effective. You know, you can help from Quebec as well instead of criticizing our home and then running back to your comfort zone. Buy organic from loblaws and convince those conglomerates to invest in healthy foods.
You are brave. I couldn't do it with the burger. I would have to starve for a few days. Just water. Your little boy is obviously well nourished he looks so healthy. That is great to see.
Welcome to AB =P I am sure they have a farmers market but a little town that like would not have much variety. I know edmonton has a few meat shops and health food stores, even a organic store. Thank you for these videos, I think i will pay a little more and start visiting the organic store in Edmonton, right next door to save one foods!!! But ya little towns like that ......that's what happens when they get big enough for superstores. You may have had better luck in Etown or cowtown.
How do you know it is Irradiated fruit? Even when you buy the Supposed Organics in a supermarket? But the main question is.... How do you even know what you are buying? Meat isn't labeled "This is a Cloned cow" and coffee doesn't even need to say 1 ingredient. Fruit never has labels. Is there a way to tell definitely?
@FRVIP Irradiated fruit is marked with a PLU code sticker with a 4-digit number starting with a 3. If it's 4 digits and starts with a 4 it's just normal, and if it's 5 digits and starts with a 9, it's organic. With meat, it's true you have no idea what you're getting unless you know the butcher and can find out from him where it came form. Best to buy local when it comes to meat. Or organic.
It's sad people are lazy and get defensive when I talk about GM produce and processed crap, for every 10 non believers I convince 1,The consumers have the power people need to do very little research to come to a realization

@thetruthergirls That's not entirely true. We can post any videos we want. If a video would survive being posted from Canada then it'll survive being posted from the US. Honestly going on National US television and bad mouthing Wendy's will get you in BIG trouble but not youtube.
Why people in Canada don't grow the food they like? Is it possible to change the food production on mass scale? I've a house and big kitchengarden in south Russia near Azov sea.
@lantookh Canada is alot like the US when it comes to food regulation and land ownership. Plus they have a gutted economy just like the rest of the world. It's that that easy to get a huge piece of land and grow crops on it.
Eh...I have a similar effect/story. Whenever I drink coffee in the morning which is rare I get sick & it gives me the runs. Meanwhile my sick mom & brother have no problem drinking like 2-3 cups a day. I drink a lot of water, but it's filtered tap however, and I realized it started having an effect on my brain & thinking patterns. It's been months since we switched to tap, and my spelling/dyslexia has gotten worse because of it. *sigh Good video as always though, I like your sense of humor.

I grew up in the west, so all this stuff seemed normal. When I moved to Montreal I was like, what? small businesses? a butcher shop!?! decentralized commercial locations? how do these shops stay in business? I'm still not sure, but I do like it a lot better. (I think it might be alot to do with pedestrian culture, people walking in their neighborhood to buy the things they need... )
LOL, there were no alternatives :( so you had to go the McDo way of eating. Well, why don't you be honest for one sec, that you like the food there? I mean, if you really don't like it, you don't have to eat it. Its not that you die if you have no hot meal for a couple of days. So you could skip that easily, but you choosed to go to wendies and make sad faces because they force you to eat that. Just be honest for one sec of you missguided life!
No, we went there because it was -40, we were on foot with a wheelchair and a stroller, Wendy's was close and cheap and we hadn't been there in 5 years but had fond memories of it.
But in the last 5 years, we had completely changed our diets and upon returning to Wendy's we found that we no longer enjoyed their food- we found it disgusting. And the salad bar was gone.
Once you have changed to whole and raw foods, Wendy's tastes like SHIT. Try it.
@thetruthergirls I concur. Been there, done that. Now days if I even SMELL fast food or see someone eating it, I start to feel really sick to myself. It's just too bad they implemented codex alimentarius in the states now. I am spending like $400+ a month just on food to make up for the lack of nutrition that's caused by them mandating our food stock is fed with growth hormones and other steroids.
I also noticed that even your "organic" tomatoes are pretty anemic and conventional looking. When looking at "primitive cultures" you'll see that natural soil is almost black, soft, spongy, and doesn't stick to and dirty your hands when you brush it off. It's supposed to be full of vitamins, minerals, & probiotics which the plant then absorbs through it's roots and which is bioavaiable to you when you eat the plant. Foods are not supposed to be grown in denatured, brown, clay-like "dirt."
I've noticed that they have gone out of their way to make healthy, natural foods hard to access. About 10+ years ago, I bought raw nuts in a bag at the supermarket. They tasted great and gave me energy. Like raw nuts should be, the cashews were bright white and the inside of the whole almond was bright white. Now I can't find white, raw nuts--not even at "organic" stores. These "raw" nuts are now brown or yellow and the whole almonds I used to get are now halved and brown like cooked nuts.
wouldnt gm fruits and veggies and some rice from the grocery store be better for you then fast food? isnt ANYTHING at the grocery store better for you then fast food?
@ktodarling Yeah, they had Walmart and SAfeway but that was all. And I did buy groceries- it cost $80 for about 2 bags of just fruit, veggies, cheese and crackers! It was outrageous. There were no small grocery stores, just those big ones.
@ktodarling PS They did have a couple of whole foods/organic stores, but when you want lunch, it's -40 and you have a kid in a stroller and a husband in a wheelchair and no car, it's not a simple matter to just go there, get your stuff and go back to the hotel room to assemble it. We figured at least Wendy's had potatoes.
I'm sure Erin's daughter appeasates the fact that u and her father insulted her town. She wanted you come for a visit and u 2 slams down where she live. I know you hate the NWO and stuff but to insult his daughter's town like that, will make her feel bad. She'll think that her father doesn't support where she lives.
@merfwriter What nonsense. We like the town just fine, we just don't like the fact that the globalist corporate superstores are destroying it, and neither does Arron's daughter.
@moteintheeye... I couldn't agree more. Everything packaged from cereal to tuna in a can with water now contain soy! Soy is taking over our food supply!
...
Excellent video and documentation!! 5 stars as always...
You are probably too young to remember the movie Soylent Green. The premise is somewhat nauseating. I will leave it up to you to either watch it or read a synopsis.
Would love one of those Samiches when we roll into MTL! Personally I love the dry air out there! Thats about it though! I think its time to start planting our own food, breeding chickens and rabbits...whadyasay!
At my cottage ;)! I'll bring em prepared...and the chickens are just for eggs silly! Bee Pollen too! If you know where I can get some bees that would be great! Its Max!
love your vids.Over here in the uk farmers fields started to sprout tomatos (hahha no pun intended), reckon the farmers are using human fertilizer, so MTwatchpost you are right and i feel sick...oh well alittle bit of poop never hurt anyone.
@HeadGirl At first I thought it was the restaurant food, I really think it was the water that did it. How bad we had it was directly proportionate to how much (tap) water we were drinking.
As soon as we got away from the water, it stopped. The food probably didn't help either, but we only ate like that the first 3 days and the stomach problems continued for the whole trip.
As for both of you getting "stomach flu," I read a novel several years ago written by an MD called "Toxin." It was about ecoli contamination in beef. Anyway, during one scene two doctor's are having a conversation about the "stomach flu." Basically they both confirm with one another that "stomach flu" is not an actual ailment, what's commonly believed to be "stomach flu" is actually mild food poisoning. So big surprise, you were both suffering from mild food poisoning IMHO. =)
It's much worse than that. "Organic" simply means grown without chemical fertilizers/pesticides (supposedly) not non-GMO. In Washington State (one of the largest wheat producers in the world) farmers are enticed (perhaps required) to use "biosolids" as an "organic" fertilizer. Biosolids is the super concentrated sludge that remains from raw sewage treatment. We're actually eating wholesome, organic Soylent Brown. Enjoy.
love the vid truther girl..it is funny how our children know what is bad sometimes...my son absolutely will not eat meat unless its cow tongue, I know that sounds gross, he also wont go near and eggyolk or any milk that has rbst in it..hes 9 and all his freinds look sickly as they live on processed food. My kid never gets sick...and i havent ben sick in 2 years except for the cancer :) D3 baby
My parents used to bring us to Duluth for trips and we would eat alot of fast food even though my mom would try to get some real food for us. When we would head home me and my brothers would get sick with headaches and stomach aches. The food has chemicals in it to get you addicted and you will go through withdrawls. I remember when I was older I tried eating a burger while on mushrooms and I couldn't eat it cause the mushrooms let me taste the chemicals for what they were, garbage.
Watching your video made me so greatful living out of the US for a while. The food where I am is still organic, and we shop everything at local stores or markets. Just like it should be. The corporate giants are streching their tentacles here as well, and it will not be long before life here will be as life there.
I usually avoid unnecessary sugar in my diet but a couple of days ago I bought a 2 liters Pepsi to stay awake throughout the night. Shortly after going to bed in the morning I woke up with painful stomachache. I could feel my body saying "Get that stuff out!". I think it was a sugar shock.
You both amaze me. not that it's anything special to want something good, but it's how well you make the most mondaine trip into something that you can stick a fork into. Kudos on the Water sickness. took me one trip to Vegas to learn Bottled water or death. and the dry air. *coughs* be well, and Healthy. glad you're home.
Can order Groceries on line but the shipping Is expensive Net Grocer sells Amy's product Including frozen pizza (Amy's roasted Vegetable pizza Is among the best) & Stony Fried yogurt & Hodgeson Mill bread. Amazon sells Bob Red Mill products & Diamond Organics sells fresh Fruits & Vegetables but the shipping Is very expensive I do Not know why They will Not ship Fruits & Vegetables by a cheaper shipping. But They do Not ship to Canada yet.
It's true, you eat all the processed foods over a period of time, you feel awful. You get busy, you eat on the run, you feel the affects. It really does take its toll on you. When Codex Alimentarius is set to take complete affect 12/31/09, it will be worse than what we are currently facing. They've been slowly seeping in (like you said), just waiting... to take full affect. We don't stand a chance if we are not more prepared!
Yeah, it's just gonna get worse, incrementally: more irradiated food, all animal products with hormones, etc. The only people who will notice anything would be people like us who give a shit. Most people still think you must be a 'health nut' if you buy organic or whole grai. People have no idea.
and for all of you people who think them burgers are so great need to look up mash because that is the primary ingredient in most burgers not positive about Wendy's though mash is just that all kinds of crap mashed and added to ground beef ......... more news most of the salad ingredients are full of pesticides .... I recently was eating out and found a insect in my mushrooms the manager profusely apologized gave me a refund and said he could not understand because they soak them in a pesticide
What I take for up set stomach Is regular Listerine do Not substitute with other mouth wash that may be poisonous that around 2 table spoons of Listerine I use much now days tap Water makes Me sick Soda pop make Me sick many Fruit juices make Me sick. I Am In Oklahoma & have trouble getting fresh Fruits & Vegetables I usually go to Arby's to get Vegetables I have been complaining to Subway for years that I can Not get My Truck In & out of Their parking lot.
I mean really why can't most people figure it out all of these Wal-Mart, Wal-Greens , CVS, Sams, etc are nobody but our very own governments . I mean it really is simple stop buying your goods there go out of your way to mom and pop type stores . People complain but don't want to change anything enough to get off your butts and do something about it before the private sectors are totally gone forever WAKE UP !!
I see the average temp in Medicine hat , is supposed to be 28 f . Or about - 2c in December . So does that not tip the global warming scale off a bit when the mean temperture is about 30 or 40 degrees from what it should be ? This must be the same cold front that made the orange crops in N California freeze .
in the 80s i used to drive down the highway in alberta and there was target and roundup signs everywhere,it was monsanto testing ground, also i heard in alta they are now closing all small and outlying hospitals you have to go to a major city for operations or to have a baby, and the zombies still mostly dont get it.
lol u guys rock man.. i got alot of things wierdin out info about governemt down here didnt know i was a part of it ( well not like a paid part) but all the thing im connecting r wierd.. thanks for your honesty
Look at the people that work at Wendy's I know it sounds mean, but you can tell they eat that crap. And worse. Worse, is that they are victims of a multifaceted assault against their bodies, AND minds. I think minds first and foremost. Fluoride,etc.. Sadder still, is that there is ALOT of programming to get folk to accept their lot, and look with suspicion at anyone who desires better. Ala "Idiocracy" How bout that good ole vitamin water? It's all ya need! Soylent yellow is what this shit is.
All those closed stores looks really depressing. And I couldn't help but laugh seeing the personal at Wendy's. Not just the food is supersized lol.
Here its also really hard to find good food. And its expensive. Most people are short on time and are just scraping by so its no wonder they all go for the processes junk. Myself included.
well that is what happens when our government opens superstores under bullsh*t phony Sam Walton crap Wal-Mart, Wal-Greens, CVS, Sam's Club, etc.... all owned by them people are so lame they don't know that .
@73cupcake Why should I expect it to be like that? I went to Lenox Massachussetts in the spring and it was nothing like that. Vermont, also, where my mom has her little 'farm' and the smaller towns in Quebec also are not like this.
As long as they say 'no' to the superstores, it doesn't get like this, the businesses don't shut down.
I used to drive 45 each way to purchase non iradiated milk for my children. My Family thought I was crazy. This was after they were off the breat btw, just in case anyone wants to question that :)
Sorry! Yes, and often, because of the way the cows are handled, the tits become mastitized and the milk has pus in it, Again, sorry! Most organic milk is okay, however, you have to check the source.
I will assume you are talking about "climate gate". So, have your read ANY of the 2000+ emails? How about the "Dutch text/addendum"?- I just read it.
How about the "cap in trade-carbon tax", with the 300 pages that "they" added at 3 AM the morning of the vote. The additions were not available for a read in Congress that morning. They changed the HR's ate least twice. It made it hard to keep track of.
Do you know who/what corp, gets the "carbon taxes"? How about who are the owners of it?
Pasteurization used to be heat, and for most milk I thought it was, now they have "cold pasteurization" which is a fancy name for radiation. Even so, heat pasteurization destroys much of the health value of milk.
I Am too messed up to do the test Myself I Am still trying to get the schematics for a constant current Colloidal Silver generator & I have No Idea of the machine to make Silver Sol. Pour around 2 table spoons of Colloidal Silver In 8 ounce glass of milk let set out for a week or more also can use Strawberries (I do Not know of anything that gets fuzzy faster than Strawberries) to see If Colloidal Silver works.

@merfwriter What nonsense. We like the town just fine, we just don't like the fact that the globalist corporate superstores are destroying it, and neither does Arron's daughter.

Soylent Green is coming.
moteintheeye 2 years ago 3
@moteintheeye... I couldn't agree more. Everything packaged from cereal to tuna in a can with water now contain soy! Soy is taking over our food supply!
...
Excellent video and documentation!! 5 stars as always...

You are probably too young to remember the movie Soylent Green. The premise is somewhat nauseating. I will leave it up to you to either watch it or read a synopsis.

@finditherefirst Where am I going to raise chickens and rabbits? In my living room?
And then what? Eat them? I'll probably already have made friends with them by the time they are ready for the pot.

HeadGirl 2 years ago
@HeadGirl At first I thought it was the restaurant food, I really think it was the water that did it. How bad we had it was directly proportionate to how much (tap) water we were drinking.
As soon as we got away from the water, it stopped. The food probably didn't help either, but we only ate like that the first 3 days and the stomach problems continued for the whole trip.
thetruthergirls 2 years ago
Great post. That's exactly what's going on - they are killing off the small farmers thus raising the price of organics - bullshit!
morningmayan 2 years ago 2
As for both of you getting "stomach flu," I read a novel several years ago written by an MD called "Toxin." It was about ecoli contamination in beef. Anyway, during one scene two doctor's are having a conversation about the "stomach flu." Basically they both confirm with one another that "stomach flu" is not an actual ailment, what's commonly believed to be "stomach flu" is actually mild food poisoning. So big surprise, you were both suffering from mild food poisoning IMHO. =)
MTwatchpost 2 years ago
It's much worse than that. "Organic" simply means grown without chemical fertilizers/pesticides (supposedly) not non-GMO. In Washington State (one of the largest wheat producers in the world) farmers are enticed (perhaps required) to use "biosolids" as an "organic" fertilizer. Biosolids is the super concentrated sludge that remains from raw sewage treatment. We're actually eating wholesome, organic Soylent Brown. Enjoy.

We don't stand a chance if we are not more prepared!
praeeo 2 years ago
Yeah, it's just gonna get worse, incrementally: more irradiated food, all animal products with hormones, etc. The only people who will notice anything would be people like us who give a shit. Most people still think you must be a 'health nut' if you buy organic or whole grai. People have no idea.

and for all of you people who think them burgers are so great need to look up mash because that is the primary ingredient in most burgers not positive about Wendy's though mash is just that all kinds of crap mashed and added to ground beef ......... more news most of the salad ingredients are full of pesticides .... I recently was eating out and found a insect in my mushrooms the manager profusely apologized gave me a refund and said he could not understand because they soak them in a pesticide
apachejunction1 2 years ago
If there was an insect living there, that is good as it shows there was no poison in the vegatable IMO.
Unless it was contaminated later, in the kitchen for example.

So does that not tip the global warming scale off a bit when the mean temperture is about 30 or 40 degrees from what it should be ? This must be the same cold front that made the orange crops in N California freeze .

Or you can have your baby at home, let's not forget.
Monsanto testing ground? Holy cow, I can only imagine what's in that soil. No wonder we got sick from the tap water.
They grow tons of gm canola out there. The whole place must be contaminated with various Monsanto horrors.

Thanks for the tour! :)

You have to wonder how many small towns are in the same shape.
boots920 2 years ago
You live in a large city and were visiting a small town . . what did you expect to find?
73cupcake 2 years ago
@73cupcake Why should I expect it to be like that? I went to Lenox Massachussetts in the spring and it was nothing like that. Vermont, also, where my mom has her little 'farm' and the smaller towns in Quebec also are not like this.
As long as they say 'no' to the superstores, it doesn't get like this, the businesses don't shut down.

I used to drive 45 each way to purchase non iradiated milk for my children. My Family thought I was crazy. This was after they were off the breat btw, just in case anyone wants to question that :)
Ladyradical 2 years ago
@Ladyradical What?? Milk is IRRADIATED?
Oh ghod, just when I thought it couldn't get any worse. I though pasteurization was just heat.
thetruthergirls 2 years ago
Sorry! Yes, and often, because of the way the cows are handled, the tits become mastitized and the milk has pus in it, Again, sorry! Most organic milk is okay, however, you have to check the source.
Ladyradical 2 years ago
Also, most of the milk has antibiotics in it that were given to the cows. Don't kill the messenger :(
Ladyradical 2 years ago
@Ladyradical
Kill the messenger? No, i'm glad for the info, even though it sucks.
I did know about the antibiotics and the hormones, too. But I was happy believing pasteurization was just heat.
Luckily I've been giving my son unpasteurized milk for over a year.

@thetruthergirls Unless 'climate gate" is used for exposing all these agenda's, and those behind them, we are all in store for soooo much more.
bigc028282 2 years ago
surely you jest
fatpius 2 years ago
I will assume you are talking about "climate gate". So, have your read ANY of the 2000+ emails? How about the "Dutch text/addendum"?- I just read it.
How about the "cap in trade-carbon tax", with the 300 pages that "they" added at 3 AM the morning of the vote. The additions were not available for a read in Congress that morning. They changed the HR's ate least twice. It made it hard to keep track of.
Do you know who/what corp, gets the "carbon taxes"? How about who are the owners of it?
bigc028282 2 years ago
I am well aware of the things you ask...
My question was that 'climate gate'
would/could be used for anything positive (exposing their agenda). perhaps you were being facetious & I missed it.
fatpius 2 years ago
Pasteurization used to be heat, and for most milk I thought it was, now they have "cold pasteurization" which is a fancy name for radiation. Even so, heat pasteurization destroys much of the health value of milk.
