@sharonanony To answer your question, the Hebrew word for 'cut off' is 'karath' and it means to be 'killed'. Messiah Yeshua was 'killed'. Also, 'karath' is the word used for 'to cut' as in 'to cut a covenant'. Messiah was 'killed' or 'cut' to make a covenant. YHVH said of Messiah, "And I will keep You and give You for a covenant of the people." Isaiah 49:8.

The prophecy being "seal up" is the that same that was concerning the coming of the Messiah to fulfill the Law an the prophets. The prophets, because is was decreed by God through the prophets, The Law because it was decreed that all are under the Law. All have sinned , and all need redemption from the Law, to be unredeemed is to be under the Law, Sin is lawlessness. But this (last) 7th week pertains to the messiahs fulfillment of the Covenant.

That is why it is mentioned in vrs 24, That is why Yeshua, could say "it is finished upon the cross. He had "come for the lost sheep of Israel" first just as it was decreed, The rejection of that , coming was an speeding out of abominations', by the jews. Peace to you too. Yes, once we come to the Father ,through Jesus His son, we then love God and love others as ourselves. First we must come to the Father through Jesus, meaning we believe He is the promised messiah, then we agree that we are sinful and need forgiveness, then we obey His will instead of our own. This is called repentance. Once we repent, He said He is faithful and just to forgive us of ALL our sins and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness. We do this daily. Be blessed.
