  • I played this song about 3 times in a row in the early eighties in a little joint at the Bakerville exit. The last exit before going over Loveland pass in Colorado. It ran all the Yuppies off.  I don't know what their problem was. It was only about 20 below! LOL

  • This tune was penned by Gay Delmore in the early 70's.

    Then Gary Lee & Showdown, from Calgary Alberta revised it on their album, "Welcome to the Rodeo".

    It became a cult hit through the 70's.

    Was fun having all those cram filled bars screaming along with this and other fun tunes that Showdown did so very well.
