These vids have been great for me. Before watching them i was always stricken with anxiety in my practise, just as i was relaxing. I always resented it and worked to shut it up. Have you ever read any of the works of Epictetus? A lot of common ground between him / stoicism and Buddhism. Interesting relationship between the two, despite being unaware of one another.
Examples of Epictetus:
We are not disturbed by events (external phenomena) but by the views we take of them (how we judge and cling to external events)
The essence of philosophy is that a man should so live that his happiness shall depend as little as possible on external things.
