Knile Davis is out but Im sticking with the hogs...apparently theres a chance he could be back halfway through the season but if he isnt the backs that will take his place are very versatile. I doubt the hogs will have to worry about anything offensively this season as Petrino has way to many weapons and one player out will not hurt his explosive offense. NC hopes will come down to Tyler Wilson and the defense...and no doubt they will be extremely underestimated by opponents this season.
I don't agree with the National Championship matchup. Florida State??? I'm thinking more like Oklahoma and I'm not sure who else yet. You can't really predict these games before the season and expect them to be right. That's just my opinion.

LAWL at having Arkansas winning the National Title. Knile Davis is out for the year and Tyler Wilson is going from backup to starter. Sometimes that doesn't translate well i.e. Garrett Gilbert at Texas.
For all the haters...this isnt a video showing the best teams going into the season, these are who I think will be in BCS bowls at the END of the season. I think OU will choke against a very talented FSU team and then to Mizzou and OSU. Arkansas is an extremely good team going into this season with a much improved defense and heisman candidates all around...and Tyler Wilson is very good. If you really want to look at who is the best "right now", look at the bs they call "Pre Season rankings"

@Heyshobiz Everyone thinks Arkansas will be good because they are. Their success last year came from Malletts cannon arm and the receivers on the other end. Once teams figured out how to get to Mallett they could since he stayed in the pocket. The defense was not as developed as this year and Knile Davis was an emerging running back. Arkansas has virtually every weapon back from last year with a new very good and versatile QB...thats why I think they can break out in the SEC and win it all.

I'm pretty sure that LSU got to be in there somewhere because they're expected to be great. Some of you think that Oregon will win it all. The title game will be Oregon vs Alabama or Stanford vs LSU.. As much as people hate the pac 10 or 12 as a conference, the conference winner is always capable of beating the NC contenders. History shows they play well in the NC. oklahoma will choke during the regular season and not make it to the title game and also FSU (they are a year away from being serious contenders). SEC will win their 6th in a row and the only teams I see having a chance of stopping that is Oregon or Stanford

LSU may knock off Oregon for any kind of bowl implications. Or Vice-Versa. but i think LSU will go to a BCS bowl game along with Bama in the national title, and finally if Alabama doesnt get a chance at the Title, then Arkansas will definately, their offense is incredible. Alabama vs Arkansas, gonna be one beast of a game. Best defense in the country vs. the best actual offense in the country that is proven. in my opinion.
@kikikenakai I have serious doubts that Oregon can repeat last year's success while replacing ALL 5 starters on the OL (2 to grad, 3 to injury the way I heard it) and 3 of 4 on the DL. Oregon's depth will certainly be tested this year. Cliff Harris is suspended against LSU too I believe. Plus, imho, Oregon NEEDS the run game to work to open up the pass and I don't think they will be able to run on LSU. If they can beat LSU w/ so many changes on the lines I'll be impressed and change my mind.

haha i think it's funny how some of you think that Arkansas doesn't have a chance..yes we lost Mallet and D.J. but we've got Wilson. He scored 4 touchdowns against auburn last year. We were the only team in the nation last year to have 5 players with over 600 yards receiving..D.J. is the only one missing this year. We have the players that made the most big plays on defense last year back. Three of our running backs had over 6 yards per carry last year. All are back. We are better this year! WPS
@zgalinato I agree, I didn't think Auburn's D was really terrific but Wilson looks like he's ready. It was a big game he entered into and he did a terrific job handling those circumstances. As you mentioned, there are a LOT of returning players. I wouldn't predict NCG but I'd be surprised if they didn't have a great season.
I realize that me picking Mizzou to be in a BCS bowl instead of OU is very debatable. But I think this is Mizzous year to break out as a premier team in the Big 12 with Nebraska leaving and Texas still down. Thats the only one I really thought twice on. But we'll learn a lot September 24 in Norman.
@kyrontwilliams OU's gotta prove it to me first. They're like tOSU in my book; winning games I expect them to lose and losing or struggling a lot in games I expect them to win. Right now I have TAMU and OKST as potential upset games for them. I'd say Mizzou but I don't know how their QB issue will work out and that's a vengeance game for OU anyway. Right now though, I'm picking FSU to school them in Tally. FSU is different than early last season imo.

Im thinking the hogs could be great this year. Our biggest problem is on the O-line where we have to replace 3 starters. We have good replacements at those spots and if they can prove it then the sky is the limit for this team

Arkansas will never do anything unless they switch to the Big12. For all the haters...this isnt a video showing the best teams going into the season, these are who I think will be in BCS bowls at the END of the season. I think OU will choke against a very talented FSU team and then to Mizzou and OSU. Arkansas is an extremely good team going into this season with a much improved defense and heisman candidates all around...and Tyler Wilson is very good. If you really want to look at who is the best "right now", look at the bs they call "Pre Season rankings"

@Heyshobiz Everyone thinks Arkansas will be good because they are. Their success last year came from Malletts cannon arm and the receivers on the other end. Once teams figured out how to get to Mallett they could since he stayed in the pocket. The defense was not as developed as this year and Knile Davis was an emerging running back. Arkansas has virtually every weapon back from last year with a new very good and versatile QB...thats why I think they can break out in the SEC and win it all.

Florida State is definitely not a national championship team yet and you have Clemson representing the ACC-don't you know they never win the ACC? I'm pretty sure that LSU got to be in there somewhere because they're expected to be great. Some of you think that Oregon will win it all. Not very many teams go back to back appearances in the title game. ESPECIALLY college football. As a matter of fact, I remember Nebraska doing that in 94' and 95'. And they won both. Nebraska's been out of a bcs game for too long and they have a hell of a quarterback as long as the receivers can catch the ball and not fumble. Hard schedule for em but hey

The title game will be Oregon vs Alabama or Stanford vs LSU.. As much as people hate the pac 10 or 12 as a conference, the conference winner is always capable of beating the NC contenders. History shows they play well in the NC. oklahoma will choke during the regular season and not make it to the title game and also FSU (they are a year away from being serious contenders). SEC will win their 6th in a row and the only teams I see having a chance of stopping that is Oregon or Stanford

@kikikenakai I have serious doubts that Oregon can repeat last year's success while replacing ALL 5 starters on the OL (2 to grad, 3 to injury the way I heard it) and 3 of 4 on the DL. Oregon's depth will certainly be tested this year. Cliff Harris is suspended against LSU too I believe. Plus, imho, Oregon NEEDS the run game to work to open up the pass and I don't think they will be able to run on LSU. If they can beat LSU w/ so many changes on the lines I'll be impressed and change my mind.

haha i think it's funny how some of you think that Arkansas doesn't have a chance..yes we lost Mallet and D.J. but we've got Wilson. He scored 4 touchdowns against auburn last year. We were the only team in the nation last year to have 5 players with over 600 yards receiving..D.J. is the only one missing this year. We have the players that made the most big plays on defense last year back. Three of our running backs had over 6 yards per carry last year. All are back. We are better this year! WPS

@zgalinato I agree, I didn't think Auburn's D was really terrific but Wilson looks like he's ready. It was a big game he entered into and he did a terrific job handling those circumstances. As you mentioned, there are a LOT of returning players. I wouldn't predict NCG but I'd be surprised if they didn't have a great season.

I realize that me picking Mizzou to be in a BCS bowl instead of OU is very debatable. But I think this is Mizzous year to break out as a premier team in the Big 12 with Nebraska leaving and Texas still down. Thats the only one I really thought twice on. But we'll learn a lot September 24 in Norman.

Right now I have TAMU and OKST as potential upset games for them. I'd say Mizzou but I don't know how their QB issue will work out and that's a vengeance game for OU anyway. Right now though, I'm picking FSU to school them in Tally. FSU is different than early last season imo.

Almost every game in that division will be one that could have SEC and National championship implications. No team out of the east will beat any team in the west in the championship (with maybe the exception of ole miss) Oregon? they have some tough teams to play. 6 straight for SEC no doubt.
