@rockerskater1 They animate the mouth to get basic lip sync done, M-E-O-W Say meow as slow as you can you'll see what I mean, Atm I'm doing an animation where my character has to say boo!

Oh, I think I get it now. The "Meow" voice-over I keep hearing in all these pencil test videos must be from Brian LeMay's first lip sync DVD.
