I find that the best maybe not smartest but most certainly thrilling I am single is to hop on aligator ally and go 155mph and its as smooth as doing 90. only problem is you literally watch your gas gage drop like as if it was a hole in your tank. but what a thrill, as long as you dont think of what could happen and your the only one on the road its worth the thrill. if you own a vette, you should atleast unchain the beast and hold on one time.anyone agree?
the corvette C4 was taken to develop the fastest street legal vehicle on earth for a reason in 1988 (sledgehammer Corvette C4 - top speed on open road: 410kph). the C4 offers one hell of an aerodynamic body. even nowadays there are tons of so called "hypersportscars" which have - in fact - FAR worse aerodynamic results than those old C4 Vettes. btw - the Sledgehammer Vette reached 410kph with just a 6 speed manual+5.7L V8 developing 890hp while a 7 speed+1001hp veyron reaches 407kph. go figure.

Because 150Kmh the Corvette make in 3th Gear, and this is not the 3th Gear.
And by the way 150mph are 240Kmh, maybe for you it Sounds very very much, but in Germany or Europa the Old Grand Daddys Drive 240Kmh on an Highway, so its nothing spezial.
@NightriderX2 Hey, 5 months later and I hit 141 :), it was 4 or so in the morning, expressway was empty. I'll save it for a mile track to speed next time. I don't plan to go 140+ on the expressway again.
mine would do 150 no prob..lt1 is a great engine...but the ls1 is better..

Lt-1 power! awesome, I've taken mine up to only about 124 mph. Pretty amazing knowing the stock Lt-1 will get you to 161 mph.
