Read the book "Red River Rising" by Ashley Shelby. Scientists at the University of North Dakota predicted the flood, but the Grand Forks Herald wrote such a harsh editorial that the scientists basically shut their mouths about their prediction. It's all in Shelby's fine book.

its already starting. they think its going to get to 40 ft in fargo when it was only 39 in 97. there already is a LOT of water around town.
