  • you know, i hate the our government is going rite now, and its kinda a breath of fresh air to see that the people (or at least some) of this country still have enough common sence to not think like our socialist commie leaders.

  • me too

  • Do you know that The Kingdpm of Heaven " IS " a socalist government....! rol over that for a while...It is called ...equality ! Capitalisim is selfish !

  • yeah, but unitl people on earth are as perfect as people in Heaven, socialism aint gonna work. PEOPLE are selfish. rol over THAT, skippy...

  • Americans don't realize that Hawaii and Puerto Rico are part of the U.S economy as well. most people there buy Import cars and as far I know the same is happening here in the U.S. I read on News that Honda was first in sells and then Toyota and Hyundai. so where is the stimulus plan on that? our money is being ship to Asian countries. No body has mention what Obama said about Utility Bills Sky Rocketing this winter, that include Fuel as well. people we will fall hard on this one. WAKE UP!!

  • I would give the program some creditability IF they allow OLD cars to be traded in.

  • The "up to 4500.00" trade comes straight out of the working tax payers pocket. It is not a discount like they are making it appear to be. The government is not sponsoring it. They have forced Us the people to sponsor it without knowing it. The fine print is we are funding everything from abortions in Mexico (instead of contraception?) to Wall street and AIG bailouts, out of your pocket and mine, as well as anyone who works for a living. Its a total miss management of funds. Seems good until....

  • Running out of words to express how stupid and criminal all of it is.

How can people keep buying this crap? Quit consuming, people!!!

Only buy what you need to survive.

Play in the dirt, build an ant farm, start bee hives, anything... just drop the remote.

  • hey charlie, Im pretty sure its 23.7 tril but anyway keep up the good work

  • AND THEY DESTROYED RUNNING CARS, ASSETS. well it least they were. this is like something the NAZIS would have to in world war II.

  • Charlie it's absurd what the Government is doing with this Cash for Clunkers.. Feeding back into the Unions etc. But even more absurd is to destroy perfectly good running automobiles that someone else could purchase. I'm talking about the extraordinary poor people of this county.

Plus Buffoun Barney Frank is going to try and block HR1207. I can't believe believe he got reelected. That poor excuse for a man.

Thanks Charlie I feel beeter now that I vented.. Your great theraphy for me.

  • It's called cash flow ....I have been in business 27 years........you have to move inventory....I guess you just don't have any common sense. Or do you think they should take all the brand new unsold cars back to the Plants and dismantel then and sell the scrap metal to Japan ? Idiot..

  • Your the idiot with your cash flow mentality.

  • Charlie thank you again.May I be pertinent to suggest that the $2.3Trillions already pumped into the stock market will be multiplied 1:10,so diluting the $24.7Trillions via fractional reserve lending.Or will this pumped even further,so covering the vast losses else where? This dilutes whatever little democracy that is left in Congress and the Senate.

  • Thanks Charlie! My cousin works for a car dealer and he hates the "cash for clunkers" promotion. Interesting. None of this makes any rational sense. Apparently this all being done, as you say, for Wall St and the bankers. (btw, the Mob is the right analogy.) Actually I would trust the Mob more than the banksters.

  • I hear ya there are no words for what is going on in this country

    GREAT VIDEO !!!!!!!!

  • It must be the almost full moon. So many videos, so little time. What is going on tonight on the Internet? I even wrote a story last night. It's like animals getting antsy before an earthquake. Hope I'm wrong. All the best.

  • A disaster of biblical proportions- real wrath- of -

    God type stuff.

Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies. Rivers and seas boiling. Forty years of darkness, earthquakes, volcanoes.Human sacrifice. Dogs and cats living together. Mass hysteria.

    If I'm wrong, nothing happens.

Sorry. I needed a laugh. It's a Ghostbuster thing. Bill Murray--- Irish charm.

  • LOL, thanks for picking up on the humor. Good stuff, very funny. Thanks again. tjm

  • haven't you heard.. ? the recession is over...

  • It's a wonder that Bernanke doesn't get is dick sucker puched a good one. I hate the way that guy looks. I'd love to see him get his ass knocked into his lil swiney pit.

  • Think of how Mussolini ended.

  • Now they're even trying to create a car-loan-bubble. What's next?

  • the newspaper known as the oregonian or the 0 zero had a pic of the happy participants turning in their 92 jeep cherokee. nice tires decent loking well maintained yuppy vehicle, better than what i drive but my mileage is too good on a 91 toy previa. any ways it reallly angers me to see yet another interference in the free market, the jeep will have to be destroyed because of false science and the poor polar bears. the whole scene here in usa is a slow torture nightmare. bedlam, crazy folks

  • We are actively consuming ourselves.

  • increase trade deficit stimulus package... brilliant idea.

  • iwent and priced a nissan altima ...same car that i priced 4 months ago...with the rebate .get this....it was 2000 dollars higher in price than it was 4 months ago with no rebate...people are stooges...dealers are not negotiating prices ...they just jack up the prices to cover the rebate

  • cash for clunkers is an attempt to give some of the dogs a bone....its just buying time .....every minute counts when you are looting a nation

  • Many people are frustrated with the decisions being made by our government. We wonder how the heck they can act as they do but it is becoming clear to me the discrepancy is the difference between short and long term thinking. Like many corporations, our government is thinking on a quarterly basis whereas we tend think long range. Cash for clunkers is a perfect example. Not considering the debt, short range sales there is improvement, but long range thinking tells us sales are only being moved up

  • As Einstein said," the definition of insanity is repeating the same behavior expecting different results."

  • the idea is that when you sign up online, once you agree to the agreement, your computer is basically government property..thats whats behind all of this..i guess the gov wants to troll peoples computers with bots now

search glen becks interview on it..

but on the plus side you can finally breathe a little better in traffic

  • Hey,

How about Cash for Hookers - the Gov simply subsidises $50 per hit. At the least the money stays in the US is. Now that's what I call real economy stimulus.

  • Yah know i think what we assume of debt or money for what it is,is an illusion.

What am i to go give someone, dollars, shells, copper, gold.

    Does it matter?

Yes it does,WHAT DO YOU PRODUCE.

  • Deflation is a bitch.

  • so on the radio today a guy traded in his car which was priced to be worth $500 for a trade in towards a new car. The car dealer traded his truck for a new truck, minus 4000 and basically his 500 went toward its purchase.......smart shit boy!

  • Giving up a perfectly good PAID FOR car which might be the only real asset that people own? So soon the sheep will brag about their new cars like they bragged about their sub prime garbage mortgage. MORE DEBT! MORE DEBT! I hear em bleeting for more!

  • The problem that I have with the C.F.C. is this stimulas money that they are using was suppose to go for jobs.

Most of the cars are made outside the US now.

So who's economy are we trying to stimulate here? We are creating more jobs, but they aren't here.

  • they are doing this to push out all the crap before electric vehicles begin to take over, its simple getting rid of useless inventory, kinda like what the mob does with drugs, ppl, etc. lol

  • "If I was in the mob..." ROFLMAO"!!!!

Cash for clunkers" is kinda like the

"now elitist-owned" auto industry's equivalent of the real estate brokers' "subprime loans." A quick way to tempt all the fools who survived last year into getting in over their heads, then, when the bottom drops out, their new cars will be repoed just like homes were last year.

All-American Suckers who just can't wait for the next fleecing by their traitorous politicians! LOL!

  • Get ready for severe inflation Charlie.

  • I can't believe the govt is taking tax money from the poor and working class Americans and giving $4500 of it to the middle and upper class! What's worse, they're putting their used cars in the garbage can and buying new cars that could be complete gas-guzzlers. What a waste on so many levels! :(

C4C is just another scam program to defraud the taxpayer and put money into the hands of government and automakers.

    "Bullcrap!" I love it :D

  • I see a trend here, next it will be rebates for air travel, buy a ticket to Atlanta and Uncle Sam will refund 90% of the ticket price, how about a new Frig? Uncle Sam will pay you to buy that too!

    Yes you can!

LOL, if it wan't so outrageous it would not be the nightmare that it is.

  • It ticks me off that they again are using our taxes for big corps. Why people financed these new cars knowing how bad our economy is and the possibilities of losing their jobs really shocks me. It's just another bubble being created that will definitely POP. I'm amazed how naive the majority of Americas are & thats a nice way to put it.

  • LOL your on a roll, keep em comming

  • Keep the rants coming.

  • "Give me a Dogde Liberty and Give my Kids and Grandkids Death by Debt"

  • I work for a large insurance company, small office agency. At least a dozen cash for clunker trade additions this week. Insane. Heard today from one of our customers, "it was just too good of a deal he traded in a 95 nissan truck (paid off of course) and bought his daughter a 09 Yaris

  • THis time next year, it wouldn't surprise me if every household gets $4500 free of charge to "stimulate" the economy....

  • I can't wait for the "Cash for Shacks" program.

  • Cash for Shacks!!! Priceless!!! Thanks for the belly laugh. : )

  • Tip: Don't try to rationalize this, it's impossible for the human brain to fully comprehend the stupidity of our congress.

  • I think it's a ploy to make it seem like they are helping us and on our side. In addition, those clunkers are NOT worth what they are paying out. And why the hell am I paying for them anyway?

  • excellent analysis, I feel bad for the people who thought they got a great deal, cuz now they're 6-10-20K in the hole.

  • Its starting to be funny what is happening over there. - Cash for clunkers - more debt more money - more craziness - Oh America..

  • Most of these new car loans that people are getting will go into default. The shit will eventually hit the fan... that is certain.

Mr market seems like it's never going to go down again. Sit tight... the next HUGE downleg is coming very soon.
