yeah we Serbs sort of like to see ourselves as defenders of christian faith, we fought against muslims (Turks, Albanians, Bosnian muslims) for so long, that there was not a single generation of Serbs that wasn't involved in some sort of war, in my family my ancestors fought in Serbo-Turkish wars, my great grandfather in ww 1, my grandfather in ww 2, my father in croatia and bosnia (1991-1995) and I fought on Kosovo 1998-99, its sort of curse on Serbian people to have so many wars.

I ne mogu da vjerujem da su im uopste dozvoljene te samoubilacke misije, bez obzira koliko oni bili spremni umrijeti za svoju zemlju. POginuti dok nanosis neprijatelju gubitke to je junastvo, a ici u sigurnu smrt bez sanse da ogrebes neprijatelja je budalastina. Nijedan pilot, niti avion nije smio poletiti, nego sve sakriti pod zemlju. A govna rokati sa zemlje, pa ako danas nijednog ne skenjas, skenjaces sutra. Lijep primjer je rusenje "nevidljivog". Pa nek se onda oni cesu po glavi.

One point should be mentioned: Those (NATO) pilots confronting Serbian pilots did not and do not have balls to do actions Serbia pilots did (without proper planes, lack of training, non-existing support from earth and air radars (like AVAX's), etc.). The same thing stands for NATO generals and every other rank of officer. If they find themselves in "Serbian shoes" they will prove to be cowards.
beside the fact that Serbian MiG's were in technically terrible condition, you forgot to mention that their pilots had less than 10% of training hours in the air, compared to NATO pilots... so we are here talking about very inexperienced and poorly trained pilots sent to combat in barely operational aircrafts...

I understand Serbs and Russians share a religious connection, but sovereignty is most important.
If you were any closer to Russia geographically, you would have been part of the Soviet Union; I wonder how you would feel about Russia then.

I am an American. I don't know anybody in Kosovo or have any opinion about Kosovo. War and politics are too complex. However, I had to make a keen comment based on the numerous comments people have posted here. That is Albanian comments are so rude. Serbians are much more of gentlemen who have intellect to articulate. I don't mean to offend anyone. There are good people from any nation. I really hope it is an isolated case. However, first impression is the most important one. Sigh!

yeah we Serbs sort of like to see ourselves as defenders of christian faith, we fought against muslims (Turks, Albanians, Bosnian muslims) for so long, that there was not a single generation of Serbs that wasn't involved in some sort of war, in my family my ancestors fought in Serbo-Turkish wars, my great grandfather in ww 1, my grandfather in ww 2, my father in croatia and bosnia (1991-1995) and I fought on Kosovo 1998-99, its sort of curse on Serbian people to have so many wars.

One point should be mentioned: Those (NATO) pilots confronting Serbian pilots did not and do not have balls to do actions Serbia pilots did (without proper planes, lack of training, non-existing support from earth and air radars (like AVAX's), etc.).
