The Central Bank caused the Great Depression. The Reserve Banks created a credit expanion amounting to $4 billion in less than a year prior to the crash. These socialist economic policies facilitated The New Deal. More government regulations were then implemented as a solution for the government intervention that caused the disaster.
Socialism is based on self-sacrifice to the group. It is a morally bankrupt system.
why you thing you work 8 hours per DAY ? why you thing in your work you can have vacation? well for those that never notice something i am going to tell them a little secret all that shit is thank to" labor union , to SOCIALIST THAT WORK FOR equal rights
You must be naive if you believe that large scale "socialist" public works are more effective than the free market. Basic understanding of economics would explain why socialism is practically impossible. Not to mention that there's also evidence that FDR's New Deal policies could have prolonged the Great Depression if it wasn't for WWII. And once you have better understanding of economics, you'll also realize why a bailout, along with any government intervention, is flawed to begin with.
Capitalism is focused on perpetual growth in terms of maximizing profit and minimizing loss and that requires resources that will gradually deplete in the long run.
World resources should not be privatized by corporations nor should bankers be legally allowed to have control over the issuance of money on the supply of goods, it should both come under control of the people to whom it properly belongs. We only ought to gain access to those resources by working for it.
i think its not right that in capitalism the top row of companies are laws onto themselves, i also dont like the way people will cut corners on everything in order to maximize profits for themselves, i dont like the way its international companies right to be in when things are good and out when things are bad
The new deal was unconstitutional. You are confusing free market capitalism from what we have right now, corporatism with heavy regulation. Standing armies are unconstitutional. The bankers will make off w/ all that $ & more. Government has been a big part of this problem & giving them even more control is not the answer. The more they get the more they will spend on themselves & their buddies. Trusting your government to run your life is a huge mistake. They can't even run their own lives.
You sent a video reply on a Ron Paul video, in which has nothing to do with Ron Paul or what he said. Talk about attention whoring. In any case, I would like to comment on poverty. Socialistic countries such as Canada and UK have a higher poverty level then the US. Europe in general has a major homeless problem. You do the reserch instead of spewing crap.
Umm... it is relevant. Please don't outright lie. The poverty level of Canada is 10.8% with an even lower absoloute rate of poverty. The poverty rate of the United States is 12.5%. Who is spewing crap and not doing research?
The capitalist system does allow people to make huge amounts of money, but if they are paying a fair amount of tax and if there is sufficient regulation of their activities, you allow people to succeed and the government has enough money to help out those less fortunate. The main problem with socialism is that the leaders generally live a life of luxury that is out of reach of the general population.
The capitalist system is a system that can be abused, just like the health care system. For example, people that "doctor shop" only to get drugs to sell as "party drugs". These people are hurting people that actually need the drugs. The capitalist system allows people to make more money then they could possibly need, while others are living paycheck to paycheck or reliant on credit. The sheer amount of greed that exists within the capitalist system as it stands is fucking ridiculous.

Right on. I consider myself a socialist. That's the only system that works.

Hitler said in 1927, We are socialists, we are enemies of todays capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak.
aldell1 3 years ago
He also said in 1926 "We stand for the maintenance of private property. We
shall protect free enterprise as the most expedient, or rather the sole possible economic order."
Hitler had a completely different definition of socialism and had many reds sent to concentration camps.

Many socialists like Orwell have argued that capitalism always leads to corporatism, hence how we got where we are today.

Take your cap off, shave your face, learn to speak proper, then maybe I would take your opinion as 2 cents.
A FYI: WWII got us out of the depression. Hardly socialisim. Many of the social policies of FDR are causing many of our issues today.

Stop being an ignorant bigot, stop hurling nonsensical insults, and lick a taint. Fucking clown.
U are right WW2 did help us get out of the depression, through socialist policies.
