To say your statement would be true if you are talking about 'true Christians'...meaning those that follow the teachings of Christ, who is perfect and never sins...then there are no true Christians. I've been a Christian for most of my life; over 38 years. I can only surmise what I would have turned out to be, had I got my hands on drugs, which I wanted to do at age eight, prior to my conversion. Praise The Lord that Divine Providence circumvented that. Many of my peers who dabbled in drugs and sin ended up in jail, prison, rehab, homeless, back on the streets; some are dead, some are in wheelchairs. Some are in hell. Oh, the rewards of sin. Not for me!

I have a wonderful father. There isn't a person alive that could have a better father than I have. So no, your father and your view of god have nothing to do with each other.
How you view god is related to things in your life however. How you were brought up, what you are trying to explain in your life, what you fear, what excites you, etc. People believe in god for many different reasons and their view of him is very personal.
My parents were dysfunctional. Both came from raging, alcoholic families who saw lots of violence, abuse, terror and etc. I was spared the abuse but was neglected growing up. I was very unhealthy and struggled all my life with things I otherwise wouldn't have. (Thank you booze).
Many families are grow up, healthy, and sound. But if they don't know Jesus as Lord and Saviour before they die, they will end up in hell. I am going to Heaven because I am forgiven and I've accepted Jesus / repented.

Christianity is "relationship." Religion is sinful mans vain attempt to reach a perfect, holy God. I accepted Jesus to have my sins forgiven, and have eternal life when I leave this world. Parents are responsible for being the role models for the children and teaching their children that famous people are for show. Christians are not "sinless" but they do "sin less." Christians are on a journey to holiness. We don't wallow in sin, or stay in sin. A true believer wants to become like Jesus Christ. We have the sinful nature, and a new nature in Christ. Whichever one we feed will get the stronger hold in our lives. That is why we are to put away the deeds of the flesh, as is depicted in Galatians 5:19

Christians can be good people. But born again Christians are the worst kind. Your 'god' is what you are making him because you want yourself to feel better about your own life.

I am not "better" than you or anyone. I am a human who has the same issues as everyone. Only difference is that Jesus in me gives me overcoming power to do Gods will and stay away from sin.
The bible will keep you away from sin........ or sin will keep you away from the bible.
It is because of Jesus Christ, that I feel better about life. Apart from Him, I'd be under a parkbench, or in jail / prison, or rehab. He has kept me from experiencing those things, praise the Lord.

Most Christians would agree that the bible is not to be taken literally anyway. It's full of metaphors and 'moral stories'...like the fairy tales that have morals at the end of them.
People cannot live like that. The bible was written when people were more simple but also more animalistic. It's just not relevant anymore.

I've been a Christian for most of my life; over 38 years. I can only surmise what I would have turned out to be, had I got my hands on drugs, which I wanted to do at age eight, prior to my conversion. Praise The Lord that Divine Providence circumvented that. Many of my peers who dabbled in drugs and sin ended up in jail, prison, rehab, homeless, back on the streets; some are dead, some are in wheelchairs. Some are in hell. Oh, the rewards of sin. Not for me!

I was "demonized" at a very , early age because of many reasons. I almost did illicit things, but the kids doing that were much older than I, plus they lived far away from me, so I didn't get my chance. PRAISE THE LORD! My father was an adherent to a satanic belief system. No, he was not a good father, in the sense that he was deficit emotionally in many ways, But I love and forgive him. It cost me dearly.

I have a wonderful father. There isn't a person alive that could have a better father than I have. So no, your father and your view of god have nothing to do with each other.
How you view god is related to things in your life however. How you were brought up, what you are trying to explain in your life, what you fear, what excites you, etc. People believe in god for many different reasons and their view of him is very personal.

My parents were dysfunctional. Both came from raging, alcoholic families who saw lots of violence, abuse, terror and etc. I was spared the abuse but was neglected growing up. I was very unhealthy and struggled all my life with things I otherwise wouldn't have. (Thank you booze).
Many families are grow up, healthy, and sound. But if they don't know Jesus as Lord and Saviour before they die, they will end up in hell. I am going to Heaven because I am forgiven and I've accepted Jesus / repented.

Christianity is "relationship." Religion is sinful mans vain attempt to reach a perfect, holy God. I accepted Jesus to have my sins forgiven, and have eternal life when I leave this world. Be blessed and know that Jesus came to die and rise again, for you too. Gods Providence allowed Christian neighbors to move next to my family, as I was growing up. They also mentored me and kept me from trouble. If not for the Grace of God, there go I.

I see your point, and my late father would side with you, however, my bible commands me: "Go ye into all the world to preach the gospel to every living creature." Mark 16:15. I'd rather come across as "rude" than to be "polite" and let people go to hell. What kind of person would I be if your house was on fire, and I didn't say a thing! Two of the celebrities that you spoke ill of give alot of money and time to people who need it. They have adopted many children that needed good homes and plan to adopt more. The only real problem you have with them is that you think they are not married. God has a problem with couples living together in sin. Drug cartel kingpins also give untold millions to charitable causes. They also order the murder of police, government officials, eye witnesses to their crimes, and they get your kids hooked on drugs. Mere "good works" don't cut it. Repentance does.

Monks aren't holy because only Jesus Christ can make us holy and acceptable to God. To be "isolated" is not necessarily a bad thing, as long as it is not a lifestyle. Sometimes I want to get away from people, one or two days out of the month. That is healthy and okay, but to live in caves, palaces and have zilch interraction with the world is not what Jesus commanded his followers to do.

Our American jails are full of con artists my dear. I do know of a very few, sincere criminals, who came to the Lord in Jail, and are serving Jesus, and have "repented" from their sins. Most men in jail will proclaim that they are Christians, yet they make repeat, repeat, repeat visits to the facility, for doing the same crimes. Unless they repent, they will not go to Heaven. Too many will proclaim "Christianity" as a means of convenience, and not true conversion. Thats what that game is about

EVEN IF Heaven consisted of grass huts and dirt roads, it would still be Heaven because Jesus is there and no sin will be there; no satan, no thieves, drunkards, adulterers, no murderers. Everyone In Heaven is there because they trusted Christ and repented from sins.

THe people who have been offended have to "forgive" for Jesus said: "Unless ye forgive, ye shall not be forgiven." We all are sinners, and I have born the brunt of my previous ancestors sins. Some do repent, many don't. God will dole out justice, IN HIS METHOD AND TIMING. I have forgiven people who have stole from me. God has dealt with them, and God has fully replenished what was stolen from me, AND THEN SOME. Forgiveness is what sets you free.

Someone else cannot atone for your sins. I take full responsibility for my actions and I correct my mistakes (or sins) myself. I do not need a god to undo any bad that I do. Praying to a god is not going to undo a hurt that I cause another person. Only I can do that.

One way you can tell this is the end of the world. Even children are being taught that its ok to sin. For all the exsistance of the usa children have been taught morals. But that is done away. God almighty who loves us sends people to hell simply because no one deserves to goto heaven. He sent his beloved son [Jesus] to Earth to die a painful death on the cross in order to save us so that we can goto Heaven.
It's a common misunderstanding/misinturpretation that Christian's believe that everyone else ought to burn in hell, but if you look even slightly, you'll see that it's no one deserves to goto heaven, but through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we can.

That doesn't make any sense. Why does an omnipotent being need to send his son, who is really himself, to die in order to forgive us for our ancestors eating a fruit? Not to mention that this event never happened in the first place.

God will not let sin into his Kingdom...or enter into the gates of Heaven.< Rev. 22:14-15..(Rev. 21:1 new Heaven and earth)...why come back and start a new heaven and earth, for time to repeat itself with sin?
