you mean Patty? can't really blame you, i think shes cute though but from what ive heard Flynn becomes a permanate party member mainly because he and Yuri have a team Mystic arte which will kick major ass.

I haven't heard anything about him being permanent, however I do know he is available for an extended period of time instead of just that one point in the game. I'm guessing he won't stay the whole time as a full-character, however will periodically join and leave your party throughout the story.

well i saw alot and heard alot that pretty much pointed to him being a permanent member, a team mystic arte with Yuri and you can change his costume to Luke's outfit but then again you were allowed to change asch's so, plus i think he also got second Mystic arte, oh well, it would be freaking awsome if he was a permanent member in the PS3 version.

Yeah it would. I both hope he is and that he isn't at the same time because as cool as it would be to have him on my team... I did enjoy the random encounters during the journey as well, lol. Unfortunately I have yet to hear any rumors about an international release. It looks like it might be the same situation as Tales of Symphonia awhile back where it was re-released in japan with a ton of new stuff and never reached our shores :'(. I'm still hopin though. I need mah Indignation!!! lol

Part of the reason with PS2's symphonia is because Nintendo had paid for the translation and voice acting.

If Vesperia's the same (Replace "nintendo" with "Microsoft"), then I don't know if I can even see it making a US release. If a third party company did the localization, then maybe. (They'd benefit from it) but if it was Microsoft...it'd be a dumb move to localize a potentially better version on a rival system.

Actually, if his indignation was remade using higher graphics at least equivalent to TotA... then I'm not really sure what would be better. His VA does awesome during the incantation imo, but he says "Indignation" rather weak.

Divine Dragon Slash is an okay move but you should go see a high leveled fayt from Star Ocean 3 use Etherial Blast or Mirage use Blazing Cannon pretty much all ultimate attacks in that game do at least 20-30 hits of at least 20,000 hp damage.

Actually, it's not really an homage to to ToP at all. If you watch version's like Keel's from Tales of Eternia, it has a similar quote as well. It's kind of a staple in the Tales series. :)

I just fail to see how two games could make an homage to one. Yeah, Phantasia started the whole series (I'm pretty sure, :P) It just seems like they kept using similar quotes because it was meant to be a staple in the series, kind of like the move itself. That's just my thoughts on it though, :P.

Well, it is the staple of Tales series the incantation part, though what I meant was if this is a homanage for anything, hands down for ToP :P, I know that the "Ideo kami no ikakuchi" isnt present in most tales incantations, and it is only present in Eternia, Phantasia nad Abyss, so it is like an homenage
