Taraje is straight KIIILIIIN IT in this joint. Some of the throws and setups Taraje uses I've never seen before. They're dope as HELL. Absolute respect and props for your amazing skill level.
I am hoping this is the real dude who went to the '08 games. You did well and I am very glad to have seen your highlights on the web. I did have a question, it seems that 'newaza' ground fighting is all but not allowed during international competition. Why is that? There were only a few matches that allowed the competitors to work some ground techniques. But in seeing lots of stuff on the web, i.e. Youtube, there are lots of moves that should and could be allowed.
Well I like I said I am very new to Judo, but found it awesome and want to train in it. I hope that you may take some time and reply to this comment.
Also if you know Mr. Williams who provided the commentary for NBC, let him know that the commentary was good, but it would have been helpful if he explained some of the techniques better.
Taraje I remember you as a lil kid. You use to fight Adrian if iam not mistaking or was it dennis? I use to do judo in Union City, N.J.. Kubokan Judo Club Ring a bell?? Then i moved out of Jersey to Miami then did judo in Budokan with Evelio. If you remember n-e of those two names get back to me so we can catch up see if you maybe remember me. I wish you the best.
