Haha, SO true!!! I live an hour away from Memphis and every single time it rains, the other stations ALWAYS act like everyone in the viewing area is going to die. Not to mention the literal all night gloom and doom sessions they'll have every so often. It never even occurs to these people that if everyone DID die as a result of the Killer Tornadoes From Hell they'd all have to go find real jobs (good luck with that in THIS economy). They're too busy trying their best to literally scare you.

Speaking of "gayer (not more gay, of course)," how about having nothing better to do than rip on a local news's weather promo. In a world where entertainment and all sources of media have more skewed goals than this cute spot, i'd leave this kind of thing alone.
