I love this! Belly dance looks good on all forms and ages. I find performances like this one more engaging that watching an underfed teenager with no hips or curves attempt to belly dance. I'd love to see more of your work.

some of these people obviously never been anywhere outside their own little hick towns...i lived in egypt for yrs (im american) and women like these are everywhere...even dancers (but they tend to wear more baladi and melaya style stuff). they say over there that the woman should be overweight but the man should by thin. they love women based on her personality over there...not her looks. trust me ive seen many gorgeous egyptian men married to fat not so pretty girls and they are happy as hell.
I am absolutelly shocked after reading some very rude comment from people who REALLY DO NOT understand the dance at all. This dancer is LOVELY, delicate, gracious and she IS PERFORMING the steps with perfection. Oriental Dance ( Raqs Sharqi ) IS FOR ALL WOMEN, ALL BODY SHAPES.
@1ashamsa i agree. so what shes not thin ? no one ever said belly dancing or dancing in general is for thin people ! just mind ur own business, treat people the way you wanna be treated, and dont watch or comment if u dont like . by the way, shes beautiful, she has a nice smile, and shes a great dancer !
God, she is so fat! How can such fat morons think people like to see their fat ugly flesh parading. They really destroy such beautiful music like zay al hawa! Please let's start a campaign against fat people who try to dance to Halim's music!
