  • There were no videos of Natalie until this recent news! Natasha is the spitting image of Natalie, and she is a great actress! I think Nicole is a great actress, but a poor choice to play Natalie.

  • Nicole Kiddman should play her life...

  • You could discount the famly for publicity reasons, but 1) they didn't know what happened or who was involved when they were questioned 2) anyone who has ever been on the water knows how sound carries...and they weren't that far away.3) they never even came forward publicly. Which leaves the question, why would these people say something like that? Why would she go near the dark water when water in a bathtub scared her? Christopher Walken was flirting with her husband beforehand. Probably!

  • In my opinion what made Natalie Wood such an extraordinarily beautiful woman, wasn't her beauty, which was obvious; it was the fact that she became more beautiful with age.

  • Pretty, petite, very likeable. Too bad being a fine artist had to be entangled with the lifestyle of rich & famous celebrity. Who knows what she was like off camera or away from an interview--less self-assured, I'm guessing.

What an ugly, tragic way to die--it reflects so poorly on Mr. Wagner and the others on the yacht, no matter the degree to which it was an accident. Fighting, booze, jealousy, the breaking of a wine bottle. She leaves two young kids behind plus a growing fan following.

  • @ShunyamNiketana You should read her biography, Suzane Finely I think is the author. You're absolutely right, she was incredibly insecure, especially when she was younger. She slept with the 40 yr old director when she was 15 to get the part in Rebel because she thought her life depended on her making the transition from child star. Her Mother was basically a Pimp who encouraged her to go to Sinatra's all night parties at 15, while discouraging her from seeing a boy her own age who she loved.

  • @jarileigh Thanks!

  • Her career continued successfully with films such as Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice (1969).

  • Natalie, Natalieeee, Natalie, Where's Natalie?

  • WOW, she is SMOKING-HOT in that picture around 1:44

  • Natalie Wood banged Tony Curtis in her trailer on the movie set of SEX AND THE SINGLE GIRL 1964, hahahah well done Tony, and read his autobiography, that explains it so. Beats Biographies that are always formal, boring and impersonal.

  • @amarsbarr and in his previous auto-biography he said that they were never romantically involved and that he was not attracted to her. Also, the film Curtis made reference to was not Sex And The Single Girl, it was The Great Race.

Curtis also lied about having a romantic relationship with Marilyn Monroe. In his previous auto-bio he said they were never romantically involved.

He re-wrote his entire life in his latest auto-bio. I wonder what he will say in the next auto-bio.

  • @tanwoody hmmmm.... ok I got the wrong film, oops. what previous auto biography, american prince was his first.

  • @amarsbarr No, it was not. In 1994 he wrote his first auto-bio entitled "Tony Curtis-An Auto-Biography. It differed vastly from American Prince. He appears to be embellishing in American Prince because being honest and truthful did not serve him well when he wrote his first auto-bio. The fact is Natalie and Tony barely spoke on the set on The Great Race.

  • @tanwoody also, in the original auto-bio, Curtis was very complimentary toward Janet Leigh as she was alive and well at the time he wrote the book but by the time he write American Prince, she had died so he was able to trash her without her being able to defend herself. What a guy!

  • @amarsbarr He lied. I hate it when dirty old men think they can say they had sex with this poor girl just because she's dead.

  • Love the exotic look of Russian women!

  • What happened to the music? I think YouTube got the soundtracks messed up.

The music use to be great.

  • when the world was young ... miss a lot

  • That though the radiance which was once so bright be now forever taken from my sight. Though nothing can bring back the hour of splendor in the grass, glory in the flower. We will grieve not, rather find strength in what remains behind.

    -William Wordsworth

Who was right for the part? She would have had to be talented, beautiful, in the right place and at the right time. Jennifer was not there.

  • Beautiful photos in a nice sequence. Too bad the music is completely out of place and time. That song is terrible -- it ruins the presentation. The end of the clip says "Peggy Lee" but that is NOT a Peggy Lee song playing. CHANGE THAT AWFUL MUSIC. Natalie deserves better.

  • I had to do an audioswap because Youtube blocked the original audio, so this music was not of my choosing.

  • Um ... oh. Sorry I got so riled up. My bad. Thanks for posting such nice photos. Natalie is the best. I'm looking forward to reading Davern's book to see what he has to say. Peace.

  • She was sooo beautiful,I really think her husband killed her and got away with it. Such a waste of such an exquisite woman.

  • Exactly!

So many people wasted her! but it was a different time....she was a woman and didn't always have a choice.

Totally wasted. I wish she could have lived and not been killed.

  • I believe she would have still been alive if she had just left Robert Wagner for good. I am 38 years old and she was before my time but all I saw was a beautiful woman throughout and that is a rare find.

  • Agree with you there. She was way before my time too but I love her and she is the best actress who ever lived.

Many actresses from her generation went on to have great success in their 30s and 40s. I believe had she not died so young, she would have made a comeback and break free from the image she had when she was a star in her teens and early 20s.

  • lemonade...I totally agree with you & vanessa. I always believed Robert Wagoner killed her. He was so jealous of her beauty and every man in Hollywood loved her. She lit up the screen with a lot of top name male stars and had photos taken with Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Efrem Zimbalist Jr, George Hamilton, James Dean and countless others who ranked high on the list. Robert Wagoner was a no body...still is... Natalie Wood made him famous. I love your comment regarding this beautiful woman.

  • @vanessalove182 So what? What's wrong with that? Nothing wrong with looking or being "ethnic". Geez..

  • @UhHuhHer85

nothing wrong at all. but it would have been more appropriate to cast a real puerto rican girl, a real mexican girl, a real black girl, etc. instead of getting a white one like her and putting dark makeup on. that's all i meant

  • Thanks for posting. Sad her gay husband was so jealous.

  • lol. that is so true

  • @Gertrudis67 Her jealous gay husband? You're insane.

  • @KellyGreen5555 Everyone knows he's gay. Her first marriage ended because she walked in on him & the butler. She remarried him, thinking he'd changed no doubt, & ended up mysteriously dying off the coast of Catalina, ironically, she was phobic of dark water & had nightmares of dying in it all her life, a family in a nearby boat heard a man say "What are you going to do now?", & her husband waited until the next day to report her missing.

  • @jarileigh I've noticed that Youtube is littered with crackpots who have crackpot conspiracy theories...you are now added to that list.

  • @KellyGreen5555 Really? I've noticed that youtube is littered with ignorant people who don't know what they are talking about, but insist on adding their ignorant opinions anyway.....you are now added to that list! Take it up with the author of her bio who spent SEVEN YEARS researching her life you moron! Because I'm only repeating what she said, & I've known this LONG before the captain came forward! The ONLY reason you are commenting is because of the recent news, lol!

  • she looks just like my mom its amazing

i was on a bus this one tyme and this girl kept looking at me and she was like you look just like natalie wood and i was like who is that and shes like shes an actress and she drounded and that her husbands name was robert wangner

and the weird thing is i

    actually wanna be an actress;..kinda

but her and my mom could be mistaken for twins its incredible

    ahha <33

  • She takes your breath away.

  • She died so young! WOW.

  • I loved her in Miracle on 34th.

  • Thank you for all the beautiful footage of the most beautiful woman in the world, Ms. Natalie Wood or Mrs. Natalie Wood Wagner. There will never be anyone as lovely. It's all in the eyes....she made me fall in love:-)!

  • Earth Kitt's version of this song is the best.

  • Aretha actually did a superb cover of this tune which is worth finding.

  • Excellent, perfect montage and song for the lovely Natalie Wood. Don't miss also the video of Peggy Lee herself, seen singing this song. To find it, type "Peggy Lee on The Judy Garland Show" in the SEARCH engine. It has not only a fantastic vocal but also top-notch acting from Peggy, while she sings the lyrics.

  • Natalie Wood sure looks great! May her soul rest in peace.

  • Lovely song...a favorite of the beautiful Natalie Wood....

  • Lovely song...a favorite of the beautiful Natalie Wood....

  • You did a really great job here.

The audio is perfect. But I wish YouTube would give us better quality video.

    Thank you!

  • and to me also. I think that Natalie has such a power over long lost souls that we cannot help but to respond.

  • Some of these photos still bring me to tears. She has a power over sensitive people like us. God , Natalie we love you.

  • Bizarre. I look a lot like Natlaie and she's my idol. This song has some personal things in it that relate to me. Weird!!!

  • muirmaiden- a lovely tribute with perfect pictures of the irreplaceable , much missed Natalie. This friday would have been her 69th b'day - hard to believe.

    thank you
