His control is just as good as Kishore's, his voice is GENERALLY slightly better, Kishore adds more personality to his songs. Also, the songs pre 90s were written to emotionally move you (great example is Lata's song in Guide) but we don't have those kinds of songs these days. That's not Udit Narayan's fault. Amitabh is far greater than SRK but it's a much closer match up between the two GREAT playback singers. Loved both versions of the song.
