How can you guys just use such an offensive term like it's nothing? The name of that comic has the a-word in it. And you just repeat it like you're used to talking that way. That's terrible! I would never read a comic like that. And are you guys drinking beer? If so, that's terrible, too. Nobody should use alcohol. It drives me nuts that guys think they have to drink beer and use crude words to prove they're a man and all "cool". I'd never marry a guy like that.

Yeah Alex is right, I just read Old man logan in a trade, and I really liked it, but it feels really brief, there isn't actually much words in it, and most of the panels are massive, so I read it really quickly but it was still very enjoyable.

Well, i fucking love kick-ass. It feels extremely realistic but manages to still take itself as a comic and not as a rendering of real life.

But then again i always like a good gory comic.

The spider car makes sense- in a mad max kind o era it would stand to reason that vehicles would hard to come by- so a stored away spider car would be pretty damn handy wouldn't it?

i dont know, but im gonna have to go with pete on the whole wolverine issue. it kind of needed to be its own issue of why wolverine wouldn't "pop" his claws. personally, i was both shocked and awe struck when i found out the reason.

Four hours of stories about her cat = lame and predictable 22 page story on why he won't pop his claws

Although I don't usually agree with Pete, I must say that the violence in Wolverine #70 was incredible. Very exciting stuff that, to me, FINALLY shows what happens when Wolverine comes at a person. So often the level of bloodshed that would result from a man wielding three twelve-inch, cut-through- anything knives on each hand is inadvertently concealed by unambitious art. I could not have rated that aspect of the comic higher.

Punisher #1 is very bad. So bad I tore my issue to threads and after became angrier for taring apart my four dollars. If you haven't purchased Punicher #1, don't. You're better off buying Wolverine #70 or any other book on in you comic shop. Oh, if you don't heed my words and do buy Punciher #1, you'll be doubly irate at the quick story and the amount of orginal content. Half the issue's a preview or comics already out and advertisement for Marvel merchandise.Buy Wolverine or Kick Ass.

Detective Comics # 851, Nightwing #152, & Batman #684 are alright stories. they weren't that bad. & Nightwing is a "A" character, i admit he's had a string of bad writers after the late 120's. before that the book kicked ass. you can't deny it he's a str8 ridah. & Wolverine # 70 is so far the best comic of the year. that doesn't make since. you guys say it goes too fast & then you say it goes to slow. i'm telling you guys i popped my claws into this issue. that issue was phenominal.

I think Mark Millar's stories are kind of over rated I said I wasn't gonna buy kick-ass then I did I read 1-5 straight through and went wow whats the big deal, Its such an over hyped book. Millar does have great ideas but Kick-ass it self is about 20-22 pages an issue. I feel like he writes for the Trade. and Alex I like Trades, but I really only get Trades for a series that I know isn't going to be canceled like Spider-Man, to bad buying books like She-Hulk doesn't stop them from being canceled

you must have read NO fantastic four stories in that case because his FF run is HORRIBLE.

Go back and read Mark Waids run with Mike Wieringo and see how a proper writer can write a book. Even better go back to Stan Lee and Jack Kirbys 102 issue run to see the best ever run on Fantastic Four.

Kick-ASS and Old Man Logan have been great and Justin is a dumbass (more so than usual).

I thought the Denny O'neal story in Batman was good. I think DC screwed up in how they released it. should have been an ish of Batman and then the next ish of Detective. Clearly Pete forgot or didnt read the 1st ish based on his two-face comment.if you read them together it's pretty good.And was the actress lady really the narrator? i like to think that Gotham City was narrating through her. think about it.

Kick Ass is very enjoyable for fan boys because it's about a fan boy trying to be what he loves the most. But then reality kicks in. That's why he dose not go around fight super criminals. it's in the real world. Not a whole lot of super crime happens in reality. I say pick it up.

I also think that Old Man Logan is going to read better in trade; especially since it exists in a vacuum, it may as well be a separate mini-series.

But as for trying new things, Old Man Logan is just the Marvel Universe version of Unforgiven, a Clint Eastwood western, were Clint Eastwood's character has given up his life of violence and refuses to drink again because of the violence that usually ensues (much like Wolverine's refusal to pop his claws)
