People keep saying "new school metal sucks", are you thinking of suicide silence? In every fucking genre, there'll be shit bands and good bands. The fact that metal is underground means that there's a loooooot of music that is pure and good and not fucked by famous record labels like with pop artists/groups. Dying Fetus, Suffocation, Deicide... all are incredible still. The age of a band does not change the skill.

On Death's Scream Bloody Gore album Chuck and Chris made a great 2 man album. Take the best death metal guitarist and put one of the best death metal drummers and Chuck was also one of the best death metal vocalists too. Listening to this though you realize both of them Chris and Chuck are really good at vocals too.
I find that liking, death metal, death core, metal core, goregrind, grind core, blackened death metal, black metal is an advantage, because i end up having a lot more to listen to. @ demoniclord91367 thats not right, listen to the early hardcore-bands from the eighties like minor threat or the english ones like extreme noise terror or discharge. this is real hardcore (punk). also you should check out extreme hardcore/thrashcore bands like shredder (belgium), charles bronson, infest, d.r.i. or anti-cimex (sweden). this is great -core-music like it was before all this metalcore or deathcore or "newschool-HxCx"-crap came up!

On Death's Scream Bloody Gore album Chuck and Chris made a great 2 man album. Take the best death metal guitarist and put one of the best death metal drummers and Chuck was also one of the best death metal vocalists too. Listening to this though you realize both of them Chris and Chuck are really good at vocals too.
