Will definitely check this out some time. I'm playing through all my fav WW2 singleplayer games right now (BiA atm) and always wanted to have a German campaign or just a couple of German missions. There was CoD1 mod where you had to defend a beach (I think it was Utah) against the allies but it was only 1 mission back then. Don't know if it was ever finished and what the name was. Great video and English w/ German accent rules

The Germans were doomed from the start of Operation Barbarossa. Like Napoleon, they found the bitter winters of Russia along with the scorched Earth policy. Stalingrad, Leningrad, Kursk, and etc. eventually led to defeat. The Soviets then drove the Germans back toward their homeland. The Soviets were the reason why the allies won. The Soviets took an estimated 80-90% of casualties for the war. Without the Soviets, the Atlantic Wall would have never been breached on June 6th,1944.

The Germans were incredible engineers and this was prevalent during the war. However, their standards were too high compared to what resources they could utilize. The Germans could not produce high quality tanks such as the Tiger or Panther quickly enough for the war effort. The allies were lucky because even though their tanks were inadequate, they had thousands of them to spare and could produce them en masse.

Finally you get the ability to play as Axis. Because in these such first person shooters of the ww 1 or 2, America (Allies) always wins in the end. Its getting old.

@disturbed10kfists you can play Red Orchestra: Ostfront 1941-45 (Eastern Front 41-45) there you play as a german or soviet soldier. It´s very Realistic but there are no missions, only a fantastic multiplayer^^

Put yourself into the shoes of a German who likes playing FPS's, and there are a lot of WW2 ones on the market. But he has to put up with countless games that make him kill his own people in the campaign and show them as monsters.

I tried a mod like this for CoD2 several years ago but I don't know if it was this one. I remember it only worked for a few minutes and then would drop out and say "potential infinite loop". So I guess I can just watch you play through it.

@gabba1gabba1hey The current internet speak version is 1.10, his is 1.07. Unfortunately the 1.07-1.08 patch was deleted because it was no longer needed. Lolerdan is stranded on the 1.07 patch. Someone really needs to get him to 1.10 or else his version of the internet speak could conflict with ours and crash the server.
