@le3man You wrong buddy. it depends how people pronounce words or speak their arabic.
For example this man ain't speaking real classical arabic. I mean it is classical arabic but he added the egyptian tune to it which makes it sound weird. If you hear the real classical arabic u will note the difference. And it's more beautiful of course.
When I was a kid I hated going to school and used to imagine how in the future people will learn things and study foreign languages just sitting home in their beds.
It's a great video, we can speak Arabic fluently from these videos or with Arab native speakers in Egypt for example by paying only 570€ and receive * 100 hours of intensive learning of Arabic, *Discount on all summer programs and free accommodation, *Free airport shuttle, placement test and certificates, and *Free internet. For more info. Visit: arabeya, org
i got to 21, thinkin i will try imagine that culture and language.. cause it has a history, indeed... but.. sorry.. i cant with that music and his dramatic voice.. i imagined sb who is making his last speech before dying... this guys shud be a great actor, im serious here.
And as you walk through this land you are just captivated by the exentric beauty of the jewlery and the people. You hear their voices, each with their own dialect which creates a sensation of such comfort yet confusion (because You don't understand" you see the beautiful shapes of the Arabic letters and numbers and you automatically feel captivated!
Oh, I basically figured that the music was supposed to put you in the realm of an ancient culture, language.
Imagine, going back in time, to a foreign land, where everyone wore hand-sewn clothing, where everyone bartered, where everyone rode horses, camels and grew their own food. A land where the people lived in tents, where democracy was something to later be formed. Imagine

the music doesnt match the lesson. Its for a scene where: after a long night watching belly-dancers& w/a bad hangover; A cia agent is tracing his tracks through a narrow alley in hope of finding his lost or stolen passport&contact numbers, under the puzzled stares of Cairens busy w/their early morning rituals.
Idk why yall talking about finland here.. Finland is toilet of europe its cold, foods bad, music´s bad, Pekka=finn(m) Sirpa=finn(f) no culture and Pekka is racist...:D only reson Sirpa are intrested in foreinger is 1.they fat 2.they ugly :) and foreingers like Sirpa becouse 1.they want paper :D 2.sirpa pay they food.
If anyone can help, I'm having trouble trying to read a letter. 1:26 (four) and 1:56 (seven) the second last letter between baa'a and wahw. It almost looks like Ayen, but I don't hear that sound.
It's Ayen and the best way to learn it and any other sound is to listen and imitate native speakers. If you can't then try to know the position of the speech organs. For Ayen I THINK it is:
1- The lips are very slightly rounded.
2- The tip of the tongue is touching the lower teeth.
3- The soft palate is raised with more friction on it. ( I think this friction is the most important because it makes this sound different from the vowel (A).
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've been trying to pick up some arabic for a little while (and by little, I reaaaally meen little). Since my Spanish is more than rusty I should probably focus on that, but this is just to fun to quit! What can I say, I'm addicted to languages! :D (Swedish FTW!)
I want to learn arabic, swedish, finnish and french at the same time and I'm already learning german in school and i speak 3 other languages fluently! :D Just cant help it, i wanna learn all of them xD
3 languages? I'm only fluent in two (english and swedish) though I know some french, klingon and german (not much at all). Although, I do speak quite decent spanish ^^
It's just as you said, I two wanna learn them all ^^
Yes, english, russian and danish, so I can understand swedish pretty well, it's REALLY REALLY easy for me to learn, and finnish isn't that hard either because alot of it is in between swedish and russian which makes it easier for me too.. :) Arabic is something totally different though.. xD Spanish is good! I was actually thinking about trying that out but decided to stop myself for now. Its very useful, half the world speaks spanish!! o.o
Ok, sorry, but i find finnish easier because of the gramma and there are quite a few words that are similar to russian..! Not like danish and swedish, but still some words are..
And if you live in the area near finland, then the language is more similar to swedish there.. I'm sorry if I'm so wrong, I guess I dont know that much.. :D
