  • thompson is the best gun ever made

  • your firing is awesome,no recoil in all weapons !!

  • @Avb2903

    Thanks!

  • @Avb2903 Well this particular model of Thompson is the police model which has a vectored muzzle break on it which directs a lot of the gas upwards thereby "pushing" down on the tip of the gun and keeping the barrel level.

  • @arandomperson3

This is a 1921 Thompson Submachine Gun. You are thinking of a 1928 Thompson Submachine Gun witch has a horizontal forearm. The 1921 model has the vertical forearm. The police used the same thing as the gangsters.

  • HEY,do you want to get call of duty black ops free?

then come to my channel where i show you how!works 100% on all platforms

  • Mafia

  • What is the Range on the Tommy gun, what is the recoil like etc.I do enjoy weaponry but never actually pulled the trigger myself, but Weaponry is just very interesting to me, and from what iv seen in your other videos you are very nice with your responses.Just a few newbie questions i guess, I don't mean to annoy. Thanks :)

  • ah HA! the al capone gun. i want one.

  • thats not a tommy.tommy has a round ammo barrel.this is a thompson

  • @Acecombatgamer "round ammo barrel"...you know nothing of guns and what you just said was wrong, just stick to your video games and leave real guns to the big boys.

  • @Acecombatgamer STFU!!! YOU KNOW THERES MORE THEN 1 TYPE OF MAGAZINES FOR WEOPONS LOOK AT PISTOLS SOME HAVE EXTENDED CLIPS AND THE GUN HE HAVE MAY BE THE STANDORD MAG

  • Jesus locked an loaded

  • @asterix645 The Thompson was created to be a "trench sweeper" as an answer for clearing out trenches after WW1. It became popular with Gangsters in the 1920's, to which the FBI quickly followed suite in acquiring them. Then Britain began using them in WW2, and subsequently by the US when we joined the fight in 1941. It was a loved gun by all that used it, but its' weight, maintenance, and cost to produce caused it to be phased out by cheaper all metal models later on.

  • im quite new to this firearms stuff.............but isnt that the gun that the mafia dudes always use?

  • correct, usually with another mag though

  • what do you mean another mag? i thought guns can only hold one magzine and reload it when it finishes.

  • google for tommy gun drum

  • @asterix645 nah, that's the 1928 model ;)

  • Its not the tommy gun without the 50 or 100drum :D

without it its only a thompson smg

  • Please refer to my background picture.

  • tommy gun was a nickname and can be given to any thompson and it is a earlier m1921or m1928 (cant see the rear sight) model like the gangster one

  • Very nice control dude

  • I like the old school shooting sounds.

  • i didnt know a tompson was a submachine gun

  • Any Machine Gun that uses pistol caliber ammo is a Sub-Machine Gun.

  • I don't know but, aren't the compact versions of assualt rifles considered SMGs as well?

  • No, the term Sub Machine Gun refers to the sub sonic caliber ammo used in any weapon.

  • @mrlordsinister

    correct.

  • @mrlordsinister What?

It's like a short barrel rifle that shoots pistol ammo.

  • @mrlordsinister The term "submachine gun" was coined by General John T. Thompson to describe his new weapon. It combined the firing rate of a machine gun with the low recoil of a pistol round. He called it this, as opposed to the germans who used the term "machine pistol" instead. It has nothing whatsoever to do with subsonic ammunition.

  • Compact versions of assault rifles have been given the title of "PDW", or personal defense weapon. The concept of the PDW is armor piercing capability in a smaller, more concealable sub-machine gun package. The FN P90 and HK MP7 are also PDWs, as their standard ammunition is able to pierce up to a certain level of body armor, but they were designed from the ground up as PDWs, rather than being modified into a PDW from an existing gun.

  • @LOLNOOBCAKES i sense a cod noob.

  • @purplecurtisimo Actually I don't play cod that much, I was wondering beacause I was confused.

  • yay for the "chicago typewriter"!

  • oh damn! tommy guns are still around?

  • DAM RIGHT!

  • nice.

  • how bad is recoil?

  • The recoil isn't THAT big. It's not small, but definately kicking like a mule.

  • Cool!
