I acutally think the plant did an excellent job! If anything needed to be turned up or louder than it was on the sound guy....I mean what was the guy supposed to do cough up a lung? He is jazz and gospel trained and he did what he needed to do...and he did it well...and as for soul?...the guy is Black...it gets no more soulful than that...please...

and torokthetroll...of course the plant in the film sings better...he's one of the original Four Tops, Levi Stubbs...that's a given...u sound dumb.

It's cool and cool, besides the "fins" on the ends, makes it look retarded. It can lift it's head up though, and the voice not that bad either.
