  • 213 people watching this video work for the census department.

  • Do you know who else hated census questions?

    Hitler.

  • the ending is cut off...when he closes the door a bobcat roars and he shouts" AGAIN? We just did it 5 minutes ago!"

  • Porkfat, thats great about the last line...you hear a bobcat grow he says "again,we did it just an hour ago! Sorry off this the best line in Blazing Saddles was cut as the rating would have jumped 2 "R" the sheriff, with lili Von Stup and she is trying to seduce him, the light goes out and she says "is it true tha your kind is "gifted",you hear ziiiip and she says OH it's true Its true! then cut! But then the sheriff says "maam" I hate to dissapoint you, but your sucking on my elbow!

  • When he says "have a good one", he looks straight ahead as if he's blind.

  • I have dual citizenship, with the United States and Florida."Florida is part of the U.S." Don't push your politics on me.

I feel enormous pressure to get this right; I wanna win that car. LOL You've got to love Walken.

  • you have to ask one of the other 79 people. lol

  • theres me my wife some plants ... we have some candybars ,relly over shot it with that 80

  • "We have some... candy bars..." lmao xD

  • Damn! They cut off the best part! When Walken turns around his bobcat wife growls and Walken says "again? we JUST did it!"

  • This is why people don't complete their censuses! They don't have permits for their bobcats!

  • lol...."what do most people say?" he is the best snl host ever :D

  • they repeated this sketch with tina fey and betty white last season

  • OH GOD I'M DYING. SO HILARIOUS.

  • Goddamn SNL had some great writers back then.

  • @theblackcommunity Actually, Walken brought in his own writers for that show. Bloody brilliant!

  • "My wife's a big part of the act." LOL

  • This is a great sketch.

  • lol! classic!

  • i wouldnt say that, there are huge chunks of time at night wear im just... asleep. hours! its rediculous...

  • This is one of the best video's I have ever seen on here and I have passed it along to others as well. Keep up the great work, Mr. Walken. And also the census taker -- you were good too! I'm not familar with your work, but keep doing this sort of work and I'm sure I will be soon. Thanks. MGM.

  • This has got to be one of the funnest video's I have seen in a very long time! The unique part is the more you watch it the better it gets sort of like you don't get it all the first time through. Thanks for having this on. MGM.

  • there are HUGE chunks of time LMAO

  • What's with people disabling embedding??

  • @dima9944 Right? What the Hell?

  • @rhod... STFU.

  • Can anyone please tell me where I can submit complaints regarding debates on videos to? Im sick and tired of people thinking this is a debate forum. I dont know how the hell someone starts a discussion concerning Holocaust on a Christopher Walken video. In all honesty its out of line. I want to comments regarding the specific video, not something else, which actually offends people.

  • @rhodiuz yeah but half of the fun of reading comments is seeing the people who think fighting and belittling each other to prove a point is worth a damn!

  • @rhodiuz Yeah I don't know there are allot of overly sensitive assholes on here who like to use Youtube as their soapbox forgetting that people are actually going on here to have fun and laugh and forget about life for awhile. I think the problem with these fucking douchebags is that they have no life, that's why their on here being total idiots and causing problems. Bunch of stupid, annoying assholes.

  • @rhodiuz FUCK OFF IT'S FUNNY!!!!!!!

  • @rhodiuz : Uh, did you actually watch the video?

  • @rhodiuz <said, " I want to comments ..."

  • Do you own or rent this apartment?

    I'm not sure

    lol

  • I got caught outside and answered everything strangely myself. I did tell the poor man I was sure he needed employment but perhaps he has a talent that is lucrative and better used to serve the people in a positive manner.

If there was a box to check about mental stability of the interviewed it got checked that day ~ lol

  • @RenegadeTimes Maybe you should have sent your form back, the census isn't optional. I'm sure he appreciated your patronizing little lecture. Here's one from me: the census serves a purpose, that's why we've been doing it since 1790 and why it's in the US constitution. I'm not sure what "positive manner" is up to your standard of serving people in, or why you think the census is negative, or why you feel the need to make people feel bad that are trying to do a job that is NECESSARY.

  • @p0gar NECESSARY ???? For who...for what ? You sir or madame can be as obediant as you desire (at least while we possess a few spindly rights ) . The military "are just doing their job" too and I am vehemently opposed to supporting them.

Perhaps mind your own obediance but don't use the word NECESSARY with me or other's.

  • @RenegadeTimes For who? Everybody. Yes I WILL use the word necessary. You ever use a road? Go to school? Does your state have representatives? How do you think they decide how much money goes to building road or schools in a given area? Or hospitals for god's sake! How do they know when to give you another representative in congress? The census! What is the problem with counting how many people are in the country? Not only is it a good idea, it's the law. I think you need to do some research.

  • @p0gar The infrastructure in the U.S. is crumbling. ( roads, bridges, etc )

Our representitives are bought and paid for by corporate lobbyists and corrupt even on the local level. The schools are a joke. Lowest scores worldwide. Teachers left to raise the children of ignorant parents.

This is the census at work huh ? Why not research how much of the money goes into the military complex to support illegal wars and occupations.

You are living the illusion ~ not I.

  • @RenegadeTimes Because things aren't perfect we just don't do anything, huh? Let's see, so far your argument is that the census is like the military, which is so illogical that if Spock were here he would spit in your face, and that the census is unnecessary. So, we just shouldn't do it? That makes lots of sense, so in your world when someone says, "What's the U.S. population?" A reasonable answer is, "I have no idea." Let's do away with everything, right? That's an illusion.

  • @p0gar Spock...like Star Trek Spock ? lol

    Enough said ~ lol

  • @RenegadeTimes So you don't like the military, the census or Star Trek. Oh, and you don't seem to have much of a sense of humor. That's the last part of my form, thanks for taking part in this survey.

  • Hilarious skit.

  • When you say it like that, my life sounds pretty damn good! LMAO

  • "You're over the hill, here's a passport to Florida."

" I want to win that car."

    "I'm so bad at guess-timating."

    PRICELESS!!!!!!!

  • "Don't push your politics on me, pal!"

  • Just watched this skit on the SNL Best of Christopher Walken, had to come find a You Tube video to share with people. Too bad the quality isn't too great, but it's not really needed.

  • You cut the end off.

  • i love when they did this with betty white

does anyone know where the snl skitt where he is on a date but it is only showing him? can't seem to find it...

  • @Bayplaces i agree with u.

  • Funny

  • Funny... I thought of Matt he likes Florida!

  • It was Ben Franklin that said giving money to the poor was a disservice. It makes them lazy and less likely to be productive.

  • I hope a Census worker comes to my home. I plan to answer every single question honestly and directly, in Klingon.

  • @independentview1 NEEEEEEEEERD

  • @independentview1 hahaha ;) !

  • "Do you own or rent this apartment?'

    'Sure." lol.

  • @PuzzledJoker own but i think i have 1000 people living with me no 3 or 4. love the skit and christopher baby.

  • boy, i really over shot it with the 80

  • They just did this skit with Betty White a few weeks ago

  • funny stuff!!

  • A census taker once tried to test me.. and i ate his liver.. with some fava beans.. and a nice cianti..

    (slurp noises)

  • Come on give big bro the answers to triangulate your exact position every hour of the day. They really need to know so the detention facilities can be calculated

  • I want to do this to a census taker.

  • OMG that is the funniest 4:51 I have ever spent in my life!

Christopher Walken is the funniest guy on the planet. I have never seen anyone so self-effacing. He is up for anything!

  • This is utterly fantastic, my parents keep quoting it...:D

  • Walken is the greatest actor of all time. He looks like he could have a beer with you then seconds later slit your throat. He makes me laugh & scares me at the same time. If you haven't seen King of New York, see it. It is a masterpiece.

  • So much funnier than the Betty White show sketch

  • ...We have some candy bars...

  • WTF, you cut off the last part when he talks to his Bobcat wife.

  • funny unlike the real census

  • I supervise a bunch of Census Enumerators and I wish this was a joke... You wouldn't believe all of the absurd conspiracy theories we get to listen to. We've been administering the Census since 1790, as required by the Constitution, but every 10 years it's like nobody has ever heard of it before. Where were these nuts in Jr. High Civics class...?

  • @dlwilkinson11

The quote: "nuts" were here. I remember the big to-do over the 2000 census. If you do not . . . then I have to question the legitimacy of your stated employment. People do not like it when government invades private domain.

Census has been used to collect too much information that is not required by any law. If you can show the law that shows anything but enumeration . . . I will retract my statement. Otherwise . . . I agree with the nuts. Government should know its place!

  • Listen to this one - I work for the census and at first it was; if you didn't want to answer most of the questions, other than the number of people and names, you were left alone. Now, the census is sending ALL incomplete questionaires back to us enumerators to be completed. Either by the home dwellers, their neighbors or I can look up their information online or at city hall! I might quit if they really push me for this.

  • My friend became a census taker and the two of us have been quoting this video a lot.

  • haha he's hilarious

  • Don't push your politics on me pal!

  • ahh the good old days of SNL

  • Walken is hilarious.

  • I have not been counted on a Census since 1980. Frankly I have no intention of allowing myself to counted. They tell you that they can't us the information against you. They say that today but tomorrow they can change there mind. The US government used the information from the 1940 Census to round up Italian, Japanese and German Americans in internment camps. So be smart don't trust government. Don't give them your info as once given you cant ever take it back.

  • @Mr123me321

just curious, were you ever fined or have any legal issues for refusing to participate? i agree with you 100%. just wondering what they can actually do about it.

  • @pnewcombutt What I would recommenced is go on the net and get copies of the 1790 - 1840 Censuses showing where all they ask for is name of head of household No birthdays nothing else then it only asked for a house hold count. example John Doe 3 males 4 females no more is legally required. The constitution has not changed. this give you proof that you are complying with the law by giving just that and no more.

  • If it's just for population/representation purposes, why do they ask so many really personal questions like what time do we leave to work? Why isn't it anonymous if it's just for population? Why do they need to GPS our exact location? If there was a way for me to say anonymously that "here I am, I live in this general area." then i would do it and consider it safe.

Every gov't database has been compromised in the past. Your information is not safe with them or the census.

  • "Okay let's move on like this is going really well..."

  • To hell with the census and the unemployed morons who take the job bothering people, the census was started to ensure we get adequate representation in the senate, in 1911 the number of voting members in the house was !fixed! meaning there is NO reason to do it until they come up with a new excuse, George Washington suggested 1 rep for every 20-30 Thousand Americans, we now have over 700,000 citizens per representative.

  • @allenstcharles It's for apportioning the House of Representatives, you fucking moron. Go get an education and stop wasting time on the Internet.

  • @aichpvee "...In 1911 the number of voting members in the HOUSE was fixed..."

guess your one of those sensitive fags that took the job bothering people huh? try learning to reqad before you jump people , "you fucking moron"

  • @allenstcharles Do you know what apportionment means, moron? Probably not because you don't seem to know anything at all. Now move along.

  • @aichpvee You're not seeing the point, apportionment doesn't matter, with the voting number fixed we are sorely misrepresented, there is no way in Hell that one man can adequately represent the opinions of over 700,000 people, they can shift and shuffle from here to christmas and that still doesn't unFu*k the main issue

  • @allenstcharles The point is that the census data is used for apportionment, among other things, and you are nothing but an idiot clown to be arguing about it. If you have a problem with the proportionality of representation in congress, and that is a very legitimate issue, you're barking up the wrong fucking tree. But the fucking POINT here is that the census is used for apportionment. It's unbelievable how fucking stupid you people are.

  • @aichpvee The United States House of Representatives, commonly referred to as the "House," is the lower house of the bicameral United States Congress, the upper house being the United States Senate. dumbass

  • theres actually cases like that

  • i think ppl who don't fill out their census form should be SHOT.

  • @LLORT3

That is your opinion . . . opinions are like butts. Some big . . . some small . . . some stink . . . some don't. Just because yours smells like an infant's digested baby food does not mean the rest of our opinions are of the same like-mind.

I do not know if your opinions are socialistic or communistic in nature BUT we are a democratic society . . . if you do not like it . . . move to China!

Stay informed, stay strong, stay safe!

  • @BaradaNels

    i'm a communist.

  • @LLORT3

Figures, but to be honest . . . if one would study the basic foundation of true communism without the introduction of the human condition . . . it is an excellent idea. Too bad humans ALWAYS mess it up.

I am, at the very least, glad to hear your comments were not socialistic in nature. That is the true evil. I shutter at the thought of a socialism ran United States . . . it would be chaos!

  • @BaradaNels

i think the herd should be thinned.

  • @LLORT3

And what do you owe those thoughts to? Is your opinion based off any factual or scientific findings . . . or just a personal vendetta toward the masses?

Show me a sound fact to point to the conclusion of population reduction . . . and I will show you hate driven propaganda initiated by this country's wealthy for their own idiotic and selfish ends.

There is no evidence that supports population control . . . period.

  • @BaradaNels

i do have a personal vendetta against the masses. i think society will function better if the dumber people were sterilized.

  • @LLORT3

Ah, I see . . . you are a follower of the social movement of Eugenics. While it can be safely said . . . that the knowledge developed by Eugenics is invaluable to our species . . . the practice . . . is anything but.

As per your "thinking" on society's functionality . . . where do you base that opinion? Is it the long lines at McDonalds? The crowds of a baseball game? Not enough jobs? Or do you have any scientific foundation for your stance on Eugenics? Ungrounded opinion = evil.

  • @BaradaNels

my eugenicist beliefs are mainly grounded on the former Confederacy's thinking, that the herd should be thinned so we can have a master race. i don't believe skin color necessarily is a part of the master race, i just think genetically we need to get rid of the moochers and the less productive people of society.

  • @LLORT3

Fair enough . . . riddle me this.

If the herd is to be thinned to allow a master race to exist "productively" who is to choose who is productive and who is not?

You have a paradox in your thinking, sir. It is not necessarily the end to the means in question . . . but the means to the end.

Who would be qualified to judge these "unproductive" members of society. History shows NO HUMAN is capable of such a feat . . . judgment should be left to God alone . . . if you believe in that.

  • @BaradaNels

we should set up a committee to separate people into lists based on income. those who make very little or nothing are the obvious moochers and parasites, all they do is suck up our tax dollars and contribute nothing. these can be the first to be eliminated. i think there would be a lot of agreement at least on the rightwing.

i understand it is controversial to hate on the poor but hey i'm a republican :)

  • @LLORT3

A low income does not = moocher, my friend. I have frequented all three social classes in this nation. The most worthless people I have ever met are in the upper class. Middle class are the hardest working and most respectful. And low class has it's fair share of both.

Income is not the answer you seek. If it is . . . then your ideas have no foundation.

And if you wish to speak on tax dollars . . . then you should look at government and where that money actually goes.

  • @BaradaNels

but rush limbaugh says poor ppl suck, we should listen to him.

  • @LLORT3

If he did say that . . . why "SHOULD" we listen to him. What are his qualifications? Does he have some sort of insight to the spiritual? Has he reached a state of nirvana? Does he smoke the right cigar? I am sure he smokes good cigars . . . but the other questions . . . I doubt you can answer them with a straight face.

Rush Limbaugh has some good points . . . I will admit . . . but he is not the Dali Lama of American Philosophy . . . no one is!

  • @BaradaNels

i think he is always right, we should listen to him about the moochers, the poor and the less fortunate. it is them who get all the breaks dammit!

  • 72 years, not 75 years.

  • they just re-did this skit with betty white and tina fey

  • I'm bad with numbers

  • i can't believe there are arguments going on regarding the ACTUAL CENSUS on the Walken skit video's wall. loosen up people!

  • This is a permit to run a nail salon. :-D

  • one of my favorites hahahahahhaa

  • you say it like that, my life sounds pretty damn good

  • hahah good stuff

  • And some Candy Bars

  • Let's just proceed as if this was going really well.

  • i work for the census. this is awesome.

  • @utahminutemen You are retarded. I certainly hope you and your other xenophobic paranoid crackpot idiots lose representation by not doing the census; while we in civilized society gain seats and resources because we are not crazy and/or retarded.

  • dont push ur politics on me pal

  • this is no so far fetched, actually. people are like this in real life, but in different ways. i've had several people not even know their kids birthdays, age, and one that didn't know her OWN age OR birthday!!!! and some that answer very strangely to yes and no questions, and change the number of people they said live there from one minute to the next!

  • @utahminutemen he is a citizen of the united states

  • it's funny everyone is afraid of the census and privacy, yet how many of you are on facebook??

  • 80 cockroaches?

  • I work for the census. the paranoid folks are just that, the census information by law cannot be made public for 75 years. the most they can do is get a guess on how many folks and how much money goes where. If you don't fill it out your only hurting yourselfs .

  • @yorathe: I did census work in 2000......would never do it again because I now know better. Yes, constitutionally, the count is supposed to be used to keep a proper number of representatives for the states. Period. The rest of the questions, short or long form, are absolutely NONE of their business. The fact that our government has shredded the Constitution for decades should render their demands to pry into the people's lives worthy of NO response. GPSing addresses? Abhorrent !

  • @yorathe The census was created under the Constitution to count the people. Getting givernment handouts was never supposed to be part of that.

  • @yorathe It's 72 years, but otherwise correct.
